Im starting to work on leather and I think this set comes very well equiped with everything to start. The quality its relatable to the price.

First, this little tool far exceeds expectations. But expectations were low. It is always difficult to rate inexpensive, lower quality products.I will honestly say that that the low quality steel of the bits won't hold an edge, but sharpen adequately to do the job. Several of the 21st Century foreign cutting tools simply won't cut. More importantly, they arrived reasonably sharp. The actual workmanship (appearance and finish) is quite nice. Adjustment and alignment are adequate.At the bottom line, I can use the tool, it can be persuaded to do what it is supposed to do, and it looks nice. In today's home tool market, that might actually be praise. I am eager to afford a better groover, but expect it will cost several hours in my own shop remaking bits from good steel, or at least 10X as much $$ as this Yangou.

The groover worked as described.. Novice buyers must be aware to remove the plastic protective coating on the tip. Also as with any groover leather must be occasionally manually removed from the tip. Very good product, on time delivery..

It works, but you can tell the quality is middling, which is go be expected at the price point. The ring that holds the guide in place will work loose on its own and can be a hassle to set. As long as you get it secured it cuts a great stitching groove.

I use this for stitching leather knife sheaths. It works fine. Great delivery.

Have only used the stitching groover attachment. The set screw is already stripped out and the only times I've had to touch it were when i put the tip on the first time, and yesterday when it just completely fell out. Screw on clamp for holding distance bar touches the bar so when you try to tighten you very easily mess up the distance. Bought this because it was cheap, got what I paid for I guess.

I had an issue with the front cap on the handle coming loose. A little glue fixed it right up. Otherwise, it works as expected. I've used it now on several projects and I haven't had any issues.
