This is a wonderful product that there isn't any substitute I know of. I learned to use this from our old-school naturopath who has since passed away. He knew how to use all sorts of supplements and glandulars. My mom saw him for dementia, which a side effect of was dry mouth. He gave her this supplement and it helped. He said it was not only helping the dry mouth, but that the cause of the dry mouth also affected brain lymphatic drainage - which was affecting her cognitive function. It helped her.Next, for me, I had swelling under my throat which he said may be helped by it. It does, and I still take it at times.Some years later, my wife aggravated her thyroid with too much iodine, and took it to help with the thyroid and swelling. This was another use our doc had said it could work for, and it did. He said it also helps with some forms of hypothyroidism.When I've ordered this from Amazon, the real product came. I see a review mentioning that they weren't certain, but it matched all our old bottles we got through our doc.
