Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I don’t think this is necessarily meant to be hooks. I think that it’s more for decoration. However, it works okay to hang something on. I guess depending on what you’re looking to hang.I was hoping to hang bath towels or a hand towel. I am using it as a hand towel hook currently but as you dry your hands it wiggles around on the nail because it is just hanging in a nail... there’s no way to bolt it.

It's pretty cool but it has two problems:1) There is a hole in the octopus head where the nail goes to hang him on the wall. We had to fill it in with caulk and paint it blue since it was so bad. It's fine now but this could habe easily been designed without the nail hole needed.2) The legs barely come out far enough to hold a set of keys. You can make it work but its not obvious to guests that it's there to hold their keys. It definitely cant hold a purse, jacket, towel, or anything except a SMALL set of keys. I would almost just say this is a decorative octopus and has very little actual function to it.

The octopus hook is nice and heavy and looks great but it cannot be used as a towel hook or even as wall decor since it can’t be hung securely.On the back of the octopus is one eye hook that is too close to the top of the head to allow it to be hung without the screw being visible. I rotated the eye hook thinking that would work but it would not allow the octopus to hang flush with the wall. Either way, when you hang something on it it swings and scratches the wall or falls off completely.The tentacles do not curve away from the wall enough to hold much of anything and would not be effective hooks even if it mounted securely to the wall.I will be returning this.

First, they send you no mounting hardware at all. There is one eye for a screw...problem with that is, once you hang a towel on it, it swings lopsided. So I had to cut tiny strips of double sided mounting tape the whole way around it to keep it still. Lastly, the tentacles are not all angled in a way that will actually hold anything that doesn’t have a loop attached. It’s cute, but we have a single towel hook after all that.

This is a very cute piece, however, it is just for decoration. I had it in a spot right next to my shower, and it got knocked off the wall twice, and both times landed on a throw rug, and both times it broke. The hook to hang it (on the back) is somewhat flimsy because it should not have fallen off the wall like that. I wish I put it over the toilet, where nobody would pass in front of it. I gave it 4 stars because it is very cute, but do not buy it for an active area or to use to hang things on. I wish it didn't break so easily as well, it only dropped from about 5 feet, and like I said onto the carpet. I was able to superglue it both times though, but I'm moving its location.

This is clearly just a small decoration and not at all a hanger. Even if you use it to just hang a necklace, it will make the octopus crooked on the wall. Cheap looking and the color isnt the same as advertised. So much for a hand towel hook.

Bought this hook and their larger seahorse hooks for our spa room and they are really well made and super cute. The only weakness is that they loop on the back of this hook causes the hook to fall off the wall if what you hang on it tugs on the hook at all as you cannot tighten the hook to the wall.The back has a small metal loop to hang over a nail or screw head, but you cannot reach under the hook to tighten to the wall so the hook stays loose to the wall and can fall off easily. I plan to add some silicone caulking under the octopus to add to its stability and prevent it from falling off the wall so easily.

I bought this for the decoration, for which it is a 5-star, but this is a pretty horrible hook. The arms don't stick out from the wall enough to really hook anything larger than a wash cloth. Also, since it hangs from a ring, it rotates whenever anything is actually hung from it.

Only one hook on back, which makes the octopus scratch the door when u hang things

'Cast iron'?! Item arrived in thin layer of bubble wrap with two legs broken off. One star for the look of the item.

This is super cute but you hang out with a nail or screw from 1 small hanger on the back of the octopuses head. This is not a great option because it moves all over and is very unsteady, I can not hang a hand towel of it. Its basically just for decoration. I only kept it because it was cute and a lightening deal.

I love the design of the product, but it doesn’t really work as a towel hook (as was advertised in the picture). The arms do not stick out enough to actually hang anything on it. When you try and hang a towel it causes it to scrape against the wall and leaves marks. It’s a very cute decoration- but I would not buy it for a towel hook.
