Within an abandoned old building, the popular mobile-phone game Rabbit Doubt-in which players must try to discover the wolf in rabbit's clothing or pay the bloody price-has become a grotesque reality for a group of online friends. As the bones pile up, the survivors begin to question one another, and the seeds of suspicion take root. Who to trust? Who to doubt? With the wolf on the prowl, culling the herd, will any of the unfortunate souls caught up in this twisted game of murder be there to beat witness when the mastermind is finally unmasked?

Brilliant
As the first book left off at a teasing point just before revealing the killer, I was really looking forward to this book. This time it's all action, there are less characters available to the story and they don't know who they can trust. This is where this book really becomes similar to the "Saw" franchise as it brings everything to an exciting end. I wasn't expecting the ending in this book and it's an interesting way to end the story. In my personal opinion this is although very similar to Saw, carried out better. It's more believable, it doesn't involve ridiculously complicated engineering, it's simply barcodes and locks and the human condition does the rest. As I tend to find is quite common, the Japanese have taken a similar concept and executed it better than America has. I don't mean that to be of any offense to anyone but you only have to look at Battle Royale vs The Hunger Games to see my point.

Really good though *spoiler alert* if someone is a murder suspect ...
Really good though *spoiler alert* if someone is a murder suspect they would have an officer outside their hospital room at all times and be handcuffed to the bed, so I found the ending to be unbelievable. Though I guessed right as to who did it though not why they were doing it!

Creepy!
Well, all combined this series was a fine piece of psychological horror! Book two wasn't as good as the first, though still creepy, gross and scary, The game only has a few players left, with terror reaching it's pique immensely when only two are left, one of them must be the kill 9th wolf. So trapped in a warehouse of some kind, possibly an abandoned school or clinic, the teens join forces and try to capture the wolf, certain though it must be one of them. I'd say this volume doesn't have the same intensity of the first one. Still pretty tense, as I was scared to look round corners and concerned with who of the final three remaining would make it out alive. In book one I couldn't stop trying to figure out who the killer/wolf was and I was thrilled to find out that in the end I had been fairly right on target. However, this second book takes a bunch of twists and turns until it gets to the solution, so I was kept thinking I had been wrong. A pretty trippy mind-play, all things considered.

... in this series of locked room murders is the best of the 3 in my opinion
The first in this series of locked room murders is the best of the 3 in my opinion. It really sets it up for all the series being interconnected and wondering where this is going to do in the long run. I recommend this to anyone who like the TV show 'The Following' but this is not as action packed and all about the suspense.
