70-411 Administering Windows Server 2012 R2 Lab Manual

I rented the ebook instead and it seems to be outdated. When you first try to login to the VM as an administrator the password that is given in the book doesn't match the document they have that's downloadable (which is up to date instead). On top of that, some of the syntax's were incorrect and I actually had to do searches online just to get it right on the command line interface. Also, some step by step instructions were either not clear enough or not where it should be to do the assignment with ease. There was a lot of comparison, back and forth, with MOAC's website with downloadable lab instructions from and the (e)book. They are both very similiar and with the ebook, you could get the assignment done but it takes more research and effort to solve it yourself.

Rented this for a college course.Good Labs to follow if you are interested in the subject matter with minimal problems if you follow along closely.

the lab book was not very useful since I did not have the equipment to do the lessons in class, so I guess that is the schools fault for not having the appropriate equipment.

I needed this book for class. This version was 45 dollars in the bookstore and 25 dollars here so it is a good value.

These lab books by Wiley are so poorly edited, it's a shame they cost nearly 200$. If your in good with your professor, convince him that there are better learning materials than these. The syntax for command line and powershell are wrong, they tell you to do things in server c that are not set up prior, just garbage.

Please make sure that youre getting the right edition. I got the 411 when i needed the 410 and it set me way back.
