Great camera
Great picture works flawlessly. Edit: I've had this camera up and running since I received it and I've had it installed in its location for a few days now. I am speaking about the 5 MP model, don't know if the 2 mp model is the same or not. The zoom feature is 36x not 20x as stated, I can zoom in on my mailbox that's around 100yds away from the camera and all you can see is the mailbox on the TV. Picture is ultra-clear, much better than a 1080p bullet cam that I have on the system. Night vision is also superb, as clear a picture as I've seen in that mode of ANY camera I've tried. Still evaluating the distance on the NV, I will say, I believe I'll add an IR flood lamp to each side of the building to boost the range of the NV. One drawback of this camera -- You WILL have to install a power supply near this camera. I tried several different methods of getting power to it, but none would power the night vision and the cam at the same time, even over the 100' heavy 18ga PTZ cam cable I bought for it with a dedicated 5-amp power supply. Not a big deal if you are in the process of framing a new home as we are but might be a deal breaker for some. I'm controlling the cam with a joystick controller, and it works flawlessly, still learning how to use the presets and functions available with the keyboard. With the corner mount as you see in the photos, I can see 270 degrees around the house unobstructed, one more camera on the opposite corner and the entire house and grounds are covered. Once again, great camera, you will not be disappointed. Edit2: after further evaluation of the night vision, the mailbox I spoke of previously is illuminated perfectly even at that distance. I don't believe I'll need an illuminator on that side of the building, but I will install one on the other face to illuminate a large open field on that side of the house. Cheers!

EVERSECU 2MP PTZ Review
Benched the camera and was very impressed with the video quality. The excitement didn't last long as after a few minutes of operation I was no longer able to pan, tilt or zoom the camera. The video feed continued to work but the camera was unresponsive to all commands to move it. Infrared LEDs also subsequently stopped working. Was really hoping to get this working as it's one of the lowest priced 2MP PTZ cameras out there but tech support was not helpful and unit continues to be unresponsive. Thought about an exchange but after reading about all the problems I don't think it would be worth it to try a second unit. In the end I just decided it would be best to just return this to Amazon. Very sad.

Replaced my old one!
I am very surprised by this PTZ camera, which is about 1/3 the size of the one it replaced. Being much smaller than what I had, I didn't expect it to outshine the old one. It Did !!! The description claims it to have a 20X magnification, it turned out the magnification is 36X. The night vision is much sharper and clearer than what I had before, at more than half the cost. This is one is a clear WINNER! Easy to setup, upon initial startup, it automatically found the baud rate required, and installed itself as AHD, which is required for my DVR, another big plus! Very happy with it, it performs flawless, and the color rendition is spot-on. Happy with purchase! Update: March 30, Well I spoke too soon. This PTZ camera does do a very good job during the day, but at night it frequently freezes, stops displaying anything at all. Thinking that it might be the power supply being too small I purchased a 10 AMP supply, which is only 4 feet from the PTZ. No help at all, when it gets dark it shuts off completely. It seems that when it turns on the IR, it goes haywire. Daytime, it works great, very clear, but night time is when I need it most, and that is when it shuts down. Of course, I can't find who the supplier is, in order to get it replaced or to get help. Now, there is NO WAY I can recommend this PTZ camera to anyone! Update April 12, Doing some research I found the problem why it would not work at night. 1) The BNC connector of cable at the camera's end was faulty, the inner conductor was too small for the connector making sporadic contact. Replaced the connector. 2) Power cable could not supply enough power, replaced it with a heavier cable from power supply to camera, placing P/S within 4 feet of camera. 3) Also shortened the video cable (originally 100 ft) by removing app. 12 ft. It works perfect now, not a single hick-up when switching from Daylight to Night time. Night time the display is way better than the camera it replaced even though that one costs 3 times more. Very satisfied with this camera.

the app does not offer a camera view with a functional PTZ control on my phone
I purchased this camera due to its quality and camera functions especially the PTZ option. I work away from my home every day and need to check on animals back at home. Im unable to utilize the PTZ function on the camera to scan around my barn from work while viewing it on my app on my phone. I have been able to use this function on my older swann camera system. The PTZ worked well with the app and could control it on my phone from anywhere in the world. It's disappointing this isn't the case with the current app. I have to be standing at home in front of my main control center to use the PTZ

Great camera...but
Love the camera. However, wish that the manufacturer supplied the the option of a ceiling pendant mount as well as the supplied wall mount. Sort of leaves you on your own to find something that works for you. VERY IMPORTANT, the 12v 4amp power supply MUST be connected directly to the camera connection. You cannot use a siamese connection or any other extension for the power, as any extension used between the power supply and the camera will cause a drop in power, and this camera needs every bit of the power to work properly. (under power problems manifest as picture breakup while using PTZ, camera shutdown at night when IR lights come on, and loss of focus) The video and utc and RS-485 PTZ work fine with the regular BNC extension cables. Knowing this going in on this camera, you will be fine.

My 1080p DVR says it’s a 960 camera, not 1080p but it works well. TIP: the ptz signal wires require a short connection to the dvr, or thick gauge wire (12ga?). That was even with the power adapter plugged on a nearby receptacle.
