Sizing was accurate. Good quality. Lightweight but very warm and comfortable. Due to the lightweight characteristic, I would not recommend this as a work clothing option. I wouldn't wear this around a campfire .

Essential item on a 2025 tour of 10 countries. Extremely lightweight to help meet baggage weight restrictions, compresses to a fist-size ball. Very warm and comfortable in cooler climates, or after sundown in tropical conditions.

The was packed tight and flat so all the fill was smooshed .. I'm still trying to fluff it upThe fill isn't what you'd call generous. THAT SAID will will easilly do the jobThe nylon cloth will absorb a little water but barely passes air. Suck or blow on cloth.THUS very windproof .. Ventolation will be through arms.I bought a medium knowing Large would not fit snug . I just barely fit in Med t-shirtIt's exactly what I wanted except my body isn't 6'4 that would be the upper limit of lengthIt blocks air . Thus a basic T can be worn down to 50f -- if blocks Wind ,, my core kept warmI visit a nearly 100 year old house that is far too costly to heat and I need something comfortable light and not restrictive . When I go outside I don't get the blast of cold air .Fill being low will change a bit as it fluffs up but it doesn't look like a Puffer..VERY CHEAP . Nice materials . Zipper is durable enough for calm life. REALLY dark blue so fits into all occasionsI'd buy it again at SUMMER PRICES . I'd look at brand names if I used it often .. cared about fashion .. found one that comes in TALL.. So length wasn't 1,5 inches more than idealWE WILL SEE . . IT's crazy to think people running Nat Gas heating spend $350 / month in not terribly cold place 100 yr house and far too many windows.. it would be silly to complain about colder house ,, colder rooms.- COMPLAIN about NEWSOM TRIPPLING ENERGY COSTS and by DEMANDING everyone got to Electrictity - Climate extinction is a SCAM . Nat GAS IS BEING DELETED in POOR places in LA .. to improve their lives. HUH ? THEY WILL TURN OFF THE MAIN LINES for whole neiborhoods. .. VERY SAD state of the world

I live in Colorado and have a job that is inside and out all day with unpredictable weather. This vest is perfect for me during winter and spring. Its seemingly light weight, yet keeps me warm on chilly days. So long as im not out in sub freezing weather for prolonged periods, it is ideal. Perfect fit and style. Just what i needed.

Addendum 10/24I bought my first Amazon "puffer" vest last winter season, and it really helped to make many of the colder days more bearable. That first vest has held up perfectly - no popped seams, no busted zippers.During a recent "Prime Day" sale, they had these going for a very good price, so I got another on in a different color (Dark Olive Green). It's equally well made.Here's my original review:I wanted another lightweight layer to wear under my winter parka, and a friend suggested a "puffer" style vest. I've been happy with other Amazon Basics products, and this is the first piece of clothing I've purchased from their clothing line. So far, so good.First, Amazon suggest a large size, but I've always considered myself to be a "medium", without too much of a gut, so that's what I ordered. Glad I did, because the fit is perfect, IMHOP. It's close to my torso, but definitely not snug or constricting. The bottom hem is loosely elastic, and has no cinching.In the pictures, the vest appears a bit more "puffy" than what I got. Fine by me, I'll be layering this under my coat, and didn't want a lot of bulk.I got the dark red, and the vest is a wine colored burgundy, very close to the color that's shown on the website.It has a medium sized front zipper that extends all the way up into the collar.The outside pockets are decent sized, not too big, and also zippered.There are top load pockets on the inside of the vest (both sides) that have no closures.Quite happy with these vests - used as an extra layer under a coat or around the house, they're great! :)

This is an amazing vest. I had to exchange it for a small since it runs a little large. However, it is comfortable, warm but not too warm, soft, packable, and well made. I actually like it much better than some of my more expensive vests like the ones from Patagonia. I liked it so much I bought 3 more. For the price of one vest from Patagonia you can get 4 or 5 of these. Plus they wash well. The pockets are nice too. I call it the Three Bears Vest: not too warm, not too cold, but just right.

Better quality than I expected at this price point. Just good functional mid layer or light cover vest. Regarding heft, its very light in weight, so easy to grab and put on. This is compact puffy, not full puffy in insulation. I've used moderately and the batting (insulation) shows no sign of compressing or sagging yet. I like the light chocolate brown color as a bit uncommon than the standard outdoor clothes colors otherwise.

So at first I ordered an extra large assuming I could fit a sweatshirt under the vest. Delivery was the next day - wow. I thought that t extra large I’m just not that fat. So I guess I was wrong. I then returned the extra large and ordered the XX large. Again shipping was instantaneous. However, the vest seems way too big. No I did not lose a bunch of weight in the meantime. 😂.Seems that the sizing runs weird. The vests as between X and XX seem to be hat one to think would be as between X and XXX.That all being said, know that I also, at the same time bought the full jacket. The XX large fits just a bit to large, but acceptable enuf.
