Definitive Groove: Chic

Chic still sound fantastic and loved their take on " Let's Dance" at Glastonbury. Hope that is available to download somewhere soon please.

Nile Rogers and Bernard Edwards drove the Chic dance project ~ both of them excellent musicians. A lot of disco was poor but not this. Great funk guitar and incredible bass lines (good vocals too!)

Great CD with all their old hits and more, This is Chic as I remember them. Would recommend to all Chic fans

An excellent collection at a fantastic price, snap this up. I have had this a while and still play it often.buy this, you wont be disappointed, now if only we could have the forgotten chic/johnny mathis album and norma jean wright.

Classic Disco, but often a trifle repetive

Case had cracks in it which was the only downfall so far.

This is an extensive 2-disc overview of Chic disco music.Yes, it is quite groovy. However, the songs are quite similar to each other. The variation is lacking making it impossible for me to listen to this album for the time of its playtime, which clocks in at about 2 hrs. honestly, I'd prefer a 50 min. overview. This is just too much of the same.
