Great quality brush!
This brush is very great quality I would highly recommend the brush bristles are very well conditioned and together after crimping it stays flat and bristles doesn’t fray or dry out!

Beginner must have!
I have a size 10 and it’s still going strong after 6 months! I clean it after every use and i love it. You can crimp if you prefer that, but it comes oval.

Intermediate level acrylic application
10/30/2021-I am an intermediate level artist and have been doing my own nails on and off for about 5 years with gel products and acrylics. I was reconnected with acrylic about two years ago so naturally being, I started back up with a smaller brush, about a size 10. I was having a ton of trouble with application, smoothing it out, the application was so bumpy and lumpy that filing took forever, and cuticle work was mediocre until I spoke with a girl who said she felt anything less than a 14 is entirely too small for even a beginner nail tech. She recommended I try a 16-18 so I went with the 18 after doing a lot of research and watching some cuticle work videos. After doing 4 swatches with a size 18 pana brush, I can officially say that I’m in love with this brush. I didn’t experience any shedding or mismanaged hairs like the other reviews did. I properly and gently broke in my brush by very gently taking a manicure hard brush and flicking the resin out- not with my bare fingers since there’s a lot of oil on our hands it could potentially “contaminate” the prep then, submerging it in monomer a few times, then wiping dry on a clean paper towel trying to gently ring out what is left over and leaving it to dry. I have been told not to use acetones and brush cleaner as these things will dry your hairs out making them frayed overtime. I also had no issue crimping this brush myself. I also can vouch that this brush is actually kolinsky as described. Kolinsky will not lose its color, meaning it will not darken completely (to an extent) near the barrel where the hairs are connected to, the fibers will still be true to their original color. During some very simple application with just one layer of color, I was able to get extremely close to the cuticle on my practice hand without messing up the actual cuticle and sidewalls themselves and the application in general of the acrylic was very very smooth than compared to the latter brush that I was using, a young nails artistic sculptor in size 10. I thought for a while that I could stand by the brands brush because I loved their acrylics and gels so much, but to be honest even after crimping that brush I hated it so much. I do use young nails monomer and valentino acrylics which should be taken into consideration since every brands quality is completely different than the next. A cheaper alternative that I tried as well with this brush was Savilands acrylic and Mia Secrets monomer both worked just as well as the next in consistency with the application using the brush. Hope this could maybe help someone or a beginner 🙏🏽👋🏽 Sorry for the rant. I just wanted to put out a real review at all angles of the brush because honestly I was skeptical just do to the lack of detail and bad reviews this brush actually got, but I always remember that it’s the care of the brush that should be taken into consideration too.

Professional brush requires professional knowledge.
Amazing brush. I love the color and it arrived in tact. I'm a new loyal customer to Pana! (Size 6 shown). Also, I feel I have to share this to beginners.. you'll see most critical comments speaking on frayed bristles etc after only a use or two which usually 'screams' that the person didn't properly break in the brush. (If you're coming from Kiss starter kits etc that you buy in a pharmacy- THOSE brushes you can immediately use. They aren't for professionals & not meant to last long. Those $15 kit companies know that.) These brushes however have to be broken in, and cleaned well before & in between use. You must flick the starch out of the brush that gives it the shape it arrives to you in! I mean consistently for like 5-10 mins minimum. You'll see the starch particles coming out. Then I personally dip into a dish of warm water, letting any extra particles release- shaping my brush into its oval shape in between dips and forming the 'flat' side ALWAYS on the side of the brand name. I let the brush sit HORIZONTALLY (nice & shaped) for hours until dry. THEN i further cleanse with some monomer liquid & proceed to test it out. Hope this helps. YouTube has alot of tutorials as well. If the starch links with the acrylic powder- in my experience you might as well toss the brush. Lol. Unless you're amazing at bringing them back to life. There are tutorials on that as well. Remember to always research any tools deemed professional if you're a novice!

Good but don’t through the box away until you’ve tried it
I’m in school for nail tech and bought this brush cause my teachers and other students love this brand. The only problem is when I got the brush and wet it with the monomer a gap created in the bristles. Thinking I got acrylic stuck in it I let it soak in brush cleaner but there isn’t anything in it. I had my teacher look and use her brush cleaner and still there was nothing there that should cause the gap in the bristles. The brush is good but for the amount I paid with money being tight while I’m in school I’m disappointed that I ended up with a fluke I guess even though it still a decent brush. I would have returned it but I threw the box away excited to try it out. Lesson learned I guess. I do have a Pana Art brush the I absolutely love, so I know the quality is good just I got the one off lol.

Not worth $40
Don’t order this brush, bristles frayed and brush was useless. After breaking up the packing starch and breaking my brush in with warm water and monomer, the brush would not hold it’s shape at all.
