Love the dark wood seat also. I bought a round cushion for it and it really makes me happy....I bought a second one to use for weaving on my table loom. Great product. The seat comes covered in a thin protective plastic, but if you run a box knife or razor blade gently around the legs prior to removing it, it comes off without leaving any shreds. Great product!

This is a sturdy, beautiful tall stool. It is perfect for use in my kitchen, and the sage green color is beautiful. Love the dark wood seat also. Got this for our newly built office. quality seems good and is sturdy. Assembly was super easy. Comfortable to sit on (as comfortable as a wooden topped stool can be). Size was as described and fit where we planned to put it. Good value as we needed 2 of these and didn't want/need anything too expensive.
