If the sensor did not work after new batteries were put in, then you may : (1) Use alcohol to lean the surface of the sensor. or (2) turn the power switch on and off several times or (3) Complain to the vendor/manufacturer. PS. Fortunately, mine is still working .

Great Choice

I've had this for over two years and it's fantastic. The copper is a cool shade. The sensor is great, but I do not recommend this if you have pets. They will drive you crazy with the motion of the sensor. It's a well-sized trash can for a bedroom, office space, or any inconspicuous corner that would be most convenient. I've had the same Duracell battery in it and it hasn't needed a replacement yet.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!

I write very few reviews, but had to write one this time. I am so pleased with this wastebasket, I feel like a kid at Christmas! The color isn’t as deep as shown… it’s more like a rose gold Apple product. Still, it’s beautiful, and works great. Also very quiet. I did order a small stand to raise it up a bit. Thank you for offering this wonderful little wastebasket!! ❤️❤️❤️!!!!!
