The carb works great out of the box for 17.5hp briggs and stratton engine.dont use the supplied red "filter" as it is hollow inside without filter media.just installed,will see how long it lasts.

Opened box and took out bag of parts. The bag had a hole in it like someone pushed there finger through it (box was fine). Parts flew everywhere including one important small bolt. Fortunately I found all the pieces.

Fits the craftsman LT1500 mower with a B&S 17.5hp. Easy install. I was disappointed when I received the product. After waiting 5 days for shipping via prime, The main part of the carb was bent.(pictures) I ended up bending it back semi straight but worry that is a weak spot now. Overall, it got the job done and all the parts that came with the kit were correct for my mower.

Ordered and shipping was quick. Arrived when they said it would. Took about 30 mins total to install. Didn't get a chance to try and see how my mower would run because before I knew it, the entire carburetor chamber filled with gas.Updated 4-23-2023Received a full refund for the faulty carb from the seller. They were quick to answer any questions and stayed in contact with me. Only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I am still without a working carburetor for my mower and this whole situation has set me back time.

Installed it last year and still ran this year after sitting all winter. Spring on the choak is a little weak and have to open choak to get it started, but it has no problems starting and staying on.

We purchased this to replace another Amazon carb on one of our racing lawnmowers. We like that we can adjust the fuel delivery as we are running without governors and with foot throttles - so we go through more fuel than the carbs normally use. It has held up well for our test runs and practice laps - we'll see how it works on race day...
