First off, the gripes: When I received this I noticed that the glossy cover had some imperfections - 2 little dents that were very visible - but I emailed SnapeZo and they immediately sent out a replacement, no questions asked. I really wanted to get the thing up so I tossed on the anti-glare cover (pictured), but I fully intend to swap this out someday and it cuts back on the vividness of the colors pretty considerably. This brings us to gripe #2, which is really nothing SnapeZo can do anything about: the process of removing the protective film from the covers is a nightmare. It's like applying one giant screen protector to a smartphone, and, of course, the process of removing the film creates static, which summons dust from all corners of the room. I did my best to avoid this by removing the film in the bathroom while running a hot shower (humidity serving as an anti-static), and this helped quite a bit but was still a pretty annoying process. Again, though, I can't knock SnapeZo for any of this, because there is simply no way around it. Now on to the good stuff. First, it's just an extremely high quality frame that's perfect for posters, and even better if, like me, you like to swap posters around. If you don't, then you're still left with one of the best poster frames you can buy, and the matte cover is also UV-resistant, which is a must for archival purposes, or if you have something signed etc. I bought the smaller version of this frame for 2 photos I have, with one being The Sopranos family (biological) cast that's signed by James Gandolfini, Edie Falco, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, and Robert Iler, and the other being the Fisher family from Six Feet Under that's also signed by the cast. Previously I had these in cheap plastic frames with glass inserts, so this was a very worthwhile upgrade for preservation purposes. Pictured is an original double-sided theater poster of John Wick 2. Ultimately if you're hanging a cheap poster this is probably overkill, but if you want something that's very high-quality, and/or just easy to swap out, you should absolutely buy this frame.

I wasn't sure what I'd get when I ordered this frame. What arrived was an lovely frame, with outstanding engineering and a number of options that fit any possibilities I had. As an artist, I liked that the frame holds whatever size my work is. I liked the idea that I could use an anti reflective cover if the piece was a photograph on matte paper, or a clear cover if I wanted to use a glossy photograph or no cover when I needed the glitter and metallic inks to be seen. The metallic surface finish is well done and enhances the overall appearance of the content. The frame locks the work securely, fits and holds alternate sizes when I'm not using a full 8.5 x 11 sheet and has more adjustments than I would have believed possible. It also has options where I can hang it in art galleries or on my wall or even create a wall to stick it on. As I said before, the engineering is brilliant - and NO, I am not associated with the company in any way. I'm just a delighted customer who found a solution to problems I have struggled with. There is just one thing I would modify - the back of the frame has metal pieces that have sharp edges. That is easily fixed by using the 'break all edges' when manufacturing, and I am sure the next manufacturing run will do just that.

Exactly what we needed for a classic one-sheet we bought for a friend's birthday. Though designed to screw directly to the wall, you can easily run picture wire through the holes on the back and hang it from a nail, wall-anchor, etc. It's a bit heavy but that's because it's well-made and sturdy. The plastic sheeting that serves as "glass" picks up tons of static electricity, so when you install your one-sheet, make sure you don't lay the frame out on your bed or on a tablecloth where the plastic will easily pick up bits of lint or other small stuff. I think we'll eventually replace the plastic with glass. All in all, this is a great frame, and lets you frame the older 27" x 41" one-sheets. (Newer one-sheets are 27x40, like the frames you get at Wal-Mart, which can't accommodate old one-sheets.) I might get one or two more to frame one-sheets and later change them out with others from my collection. I highly recommend this frame.

What a sturdy frame ! I was a little hesitant about spending 50 dollars on a frame for a poster, but I’m sure glad I did. Hobby lobby frames were thin and flimsy- yes they were cheaper. Some were more expensive, but I didn’t want glass in a child’s room. This frame came with a thin plastic non-glare panel to protect your poster or picture. I bought orange in color and it is a true vibrant orange. Definitely compliments my poster. I would definitely buy another. It was already put together and came in a large cardboard box the size of the frame. Took plastic off and took 5 minutes for the poster to go in. Came with mounting for wall hanging.

I work at a large theatre and hotel company, and had the chance to obtain a full sized movie poster of Bohemian Rhapsody. A huge fan of Queen I jumped at it. I oredered this because the frame was purple and so is the poster. I was extremely pleased to find the purple frame matched the poster perfectly. The frame itself came assembled. All I needed to do was remove the film from the plastic sheet. The sides of the frame pop up easily. (I advise placing one hand toward each end of the side to pull it up.) I placed the poster in frame which fit perfectly. And done! Took less than 5 minutes. And you do not need to screw frame to wall. There are several options for hanging. Even though pricey, I highly recommended this frame if you have a poster you want to keep pristine.

The hinged snap design of this frame is fantastic. Open the 4 hinged sides there are mounting holes for you to mark on the wall. Attach to wall, open hinges, lay out poster, cover with anti-glare, close hinges, and done. Makes it fairly easy to change up posters in your movie room when you want without having to remove the frame from the wall. It is easier to have 2 people put the poster in, especially if it has been rolled for some time. Will be buying 2 more to finish display in theater room.

I thought this would be a great frame to quickly switch posters in and out of. Long story short, it’s definitely not, it basically takes 2 people (one to align and place the poster and one to flip the top snap down) if you try it by yourself, the plexiglass or the poster will move slightly and you run the risk of putting it in crooked or harming the edges/corners of the poster. It actually took more time then the cheap ones, the kind you take off the wall and bend the brackets to take the cardboard out. I think I’m going to try to find one that has the little metal swivel latches to open/close and buy those for frames I want to switch posters out often. I can use this for a poster that I want to leave up, so I am keeping it. It was a pretty quick install. It looks sleek enough, is lightweight and doesn’t protrude from the wall much at all. Putting the poster in, like I said took 2 people but it wasn’t difficult, you just needed a 3rd hand. The poster I am keeping in it has autographs/quotes on it. The anti glare plexiglass really hurt the resolution of the whole image and made the autographs a lot harder to read, so I’m going to just have to keep the regular, clear plexiglass in it. The clear one does already have a ton of micro scratches on it, it came with protective film so I’m not sure if it came that way or if it’s so susceptible to scratches a paper towel/windex scratched it, when cleaning the fingerprints off. All in all it’s a cool concept but in reality it’s just okay. It’s definitely not the worst frame I’ve bought, but I feel the price was probably $20-$25 too much. I probably won’t buy another one but it’s good enough not to send back.

I bought a long scroll art piece at a convention, and needed a long frame to display it. I absolutely loved quality and ease to you. Installing was quick too. Would probably be easy to swap out art pieces.

When I ordered the size I needed it was out of stock for a long time I had forgotten about it but it finally arrived (after a real long time) but it was certainly worth the wait, these are great frames! I'll certainly buy a couple more as the needs arise.
