XSPC Single 5.25" Bay Reservoir V2

The PositiveVery well made and looks really cool at a great price.The NegativeAir bubbles can be a problem they form at the top combined with the channels they cause them to get sucked into the system and cause suction problems so you have to level it really good to get all the bubbles out of the system and this reservoir after that COOL! BUT DEFINITELY GET THE DUAL BAY UNIT IF YOU CAN SPARE THE SPACE AND CASH. I only had room for this single unit but after all the bubbles were out cool!

This reservoir is really great reservoir but it can get scratch easily if you have metal case while taking off the case when you need to take off. Also it didn't came with instruction in which way the intake is or out take is so I just assume that the flat area is where the pump is pulling in water. Minus the problem that it can get easily scratched and doesn't have instruction on what side it the water way was the reservoir designed for, it is great reservoir.

I used this to replace an XSPC combo reservoir (pump and res in a single 5.25" bay). Great idea, terrible execution, but that was another review. This reservoir actually does a great job of calming turbulence from the inlet and prevent any air at all from going back down the outlet. I love the design. Great build quality, no leaks, plus it looks neat with LEDs.I had a reservoir similar to this by Technofront in my last build and this is just as good and even improves in nearly every way.

It is a simple single bay reservoir made out of acrylic. My issue was when tightening my barb fittings into the back of the housing it started to spider crack. My fittings have to bottom out to fully seal, it is they way they are designed. I put some epoxy on it and went on my way. While it does its job there needs to be a better solution to the threads being in the acrylic and more like a metal insert.

Brushed frame matches my brushed aluminum case, however it lacks flavor in mounting methods. I use a P180B antec case that uses rails for drive mounting, this bay is incompatible but still fits somewhat well. I'll probably put it on some silicone feet or wrap rubber bands around it for a tighter fit.

No leaks and works just as its supposed to, However these type of Reservoirs make bleeding the system ungodly annoying. I miss my old but uglier res.

Short bay depth worked perfectly with my top mounted radiator configuration. Blue LED (included) looks fantastic with black face plate. Simple to install and so far is working flawlessly. Excellent price for this reservoir given its features. Very happy with my purchase.

Good manufacturing and quality control, supposedly leak tested and seems like it since my bay is working great so far. Pretty snug fit into the bay area but just what I needed. Cool that they allow you to remove cover, since I will probably make my own custom cover
