I absolutely love this mat, especially for outdoor yoga! The fact that it’s machine washable is a huge plus—I wasn’t sure if it was safe to put in the dryer, so I just hung it up to air dry, which didn’t take long at all. I personally prefer practicing on the microfiber side, which has a suede-like feel that provides a comfortable grip, especially for gentle and Hatha yoga. The design is gorgeous, and I genuinely enjoy unrolling it for my practice each day. That said, this mat is definitely on the thinner side—if you’re used to thick mats and have never practiced on a hard floor, this may not be the best choice for your main mat. But for me, I actually prefer a thinner mat, and this one works great for both studio and outdoor sessions. It does fold, but folding leaves some creases, which I’m not a huge fan of. That said, it rolls down so thin that I’ve had no trouble packing it into a suitcase (while rolled) for a weekend trip. Overall, this is a fantastic mat for travel and anyone looking for a lightweight, beautiful option for yoga!

This mat is wonderful. I travel about 4 days per week and work long shift hours so getting any kind of workout, let alone yoga in has been challenging. So I researched to find a mat I would consistently use vs one that went once and joined the pile of unused weight I “used to pack”. This mat totally works for me. It is as light as any I could find (without resorting to a yoga towel). The option to use one side that is comparable to a yoga towel or to switch to the other side if you do need a little more grip is great. For me, so far, I’ve found the “pretty side” to work well. It is very thin, but they include a cushion for your knees. So far I haven’t packed it with me. Placing the mat on hotel carpet gives me enough cushion and it works great for outdoor (grassy area or beach). The description pretty really doesn’t even do it justice. It’s even more beautiful than the pictures. Also nice that there was no weird off gassing smell that you sometimes get with a new mat. After practicing for a while you recognize that it is worth it to invest in a good mat. This is one you can feel confident in.

I love love love my mat ! First it rolls extremely small, you can also fold it which I do quite a bit so far to fit in my work bag. I love the knee pad, which I have used and have left out for different reasons. When practicing in the grass I had no issues with it being too thin. On hard floor I could see this being an issue for some people *especially if you have bad knees* but it isn't for me. I wanted this mat as a thin travel mat. If you are looking for heavy support and more than just a knee mat super cushy mat, this probably isn't your mat. If you are looking for a thin travel mat, beautiful design, and we'll crafted, and able to fold and contort how it fits for your lifestyle, then you are in the right place. The other reviews I read were right, it's a bit slippery especially at first. It sticks best for hot yoga, although I don't slip very much even doing a normal flow. I would also say make sure you use the delicate cycle when you machine wash it. Oh and after I machine washed it was a little less slippery. On the other point of slippery you have the other side as an option if you really want firm grip, the back side is very tacky and you shouldn't have any issues there, but the microfiber side has worked great for me. I LOVE the strap it comes with. I love that they are really easily adjustable loops and I have been able to wrap it around a tightly rolled mat and my folded version. Everything I wanted! This is a gorgeous travel yoga mat. It makes me want to do yoga because it’s so beautiful. It’s very thin, not much cushion, but the knee pad helps. Also does not have good grip. But if you want a beautiful yoga mat that is lighter and more compact than your regular mat, this one is great!

This mat has a beautiful and calming design. It is light weight and can easily be folded or rolled up much smaller than my other larger yoga mat. It is microfiber and static-y which collects a lot of small pieces of dirt or whatever may be on the ground. I feel like I will have to clean this often but it does say that it's machine washable so that's a plus. I bought this mat because it had the best reviews out of all other travel mats. It doesn't have a smell and it is really well made and won't start coming apart on you. I'm so happy to see that it came with a great pad for extra cushion and a carrying strap. These extra pieces really are what pushed me over the edge to purchase this mat. I look forward to putting this mat to lots of use during my travels and being able to take my practice anywhere. Travel mats are not soft and cushiony - that's why you can fit them in your backpack. As foldable mats go, this one is quite comfortable. The finish - maybe a vegan suede? - has a velvety feel that somewhat compensates for the lack of cushion. If your travels take you to places with rugs on the floor, you should be fine. Also, the mat is beautiful and it's a joy to see it laid out on your hotel room floor. Now for disappointing part, and the reason I have amended my review. Using it is not so easy. Yes, it's foldable, but the creases from the folding never go away, even if you hang the mat across a table for weeks and weeks (that's what I did). Because of the creases, the mat shifts as you use it. The sticky surface on the back helps a bit, especially during standing poses. But there's a lot of bunching when you are lying down. Too late to return this, so I will pass it along to someone else. I've found a travel mat that weighs less, unfolds flat, and doesn't shift. Unfortunately, it's not nearly as pretty.

I needed a mat I could easily fly with and spent quite some time finding the right one. I decided to be vain and pay a little extra for this one because the design was just so stunning. It was worth every penny. The color and design are even more gorgeous in person.. and it easily folds up into my backpack. As for the quality of the mat - excellent. Super grippy top, nice texture to practice on. I usually use a yoga towel too for extra grip, but it’s not necessary for this mat since the texture is already so grippy. It is of course very thin, so it can be a little hard on the knees but the extra cushy pad that comes with it takes care of that. Perfect purchase!!!

I purchased this yoga mat for travel. It seemed a little long for a carry-on but in the end it looks like it will fit nicely rolled up. Would’ve been OK with them taking off an inch or two of width for it to fit rolled diagonally. Weighs about 2 pounds. I would prefer rolling to folding my mat, and as you can see from the picture it still works in a carry-on with a little bending. I do not plan on packing the knee pad, as using this on a carpeted surface works well. I did one session on a carpeted surface and it was very comfortable, not slippery, no smell, no offgassing. Pretty pattern, and based on the texture I think this will work for hot yoga as well. Should note that for whatever reason, they sent me a different pattern than the one I ordered, but either one was fine with me so I am keeping it. Adding to my review, having the mat rolled up in my luggage got me pulled for extra screening at TSA. When I had the mat for that flat, there were no problems. See pics above.

Absolutely love the product! It took two days for the product the arrive after I ordered it online. It came in perfect condition. The mat has beautiful pattern of Juniper flower, light weight and easy to carry with the strap to go to studio. As 10 years yoga teacher, I love the mat that is easy to carry, non slip surface so when I'm on the mat, I feel safe but to have such beauty appealing and calming eneretically from the colours combincation. It is awesome mat to practice that helps me to feel grounded and centre, wonderful portal to help me deep dive in the art of being present. Thank you so much for produce such fantastic product!! Did my research for the best travel yoga mat in the market and this ticked all the boxes. So satisfied with my purchase-- stunning looks, super lightweight, high-quality material and foldable. It fits nicely in my gym bag! It is very convenient to carry around. It was also heaped with compliments during our yoga class, I ended up answering questions on where I bought the mat. Customer support is also awesome. Another plus is that June and Juniper has pledged to contribute part of the purchase price to a very good cause. I highly recommend this product.

Really happy with this product. It's light, super compact, the knee pad is so handy as well as the rope that comes with it too. It's worth the amount it cost as I'll probably be using it for decades.

I like the pattern and the fact that it can be washed. For the money, I am disappointed that my hands slip on the mat when doing downward dog (worse than the carpet), and the folding creases haven't come out after a week of use. It is very thin, luckily it comes with knee padding. If I wasn't using it on a carpet it would be way too thin.
