How would the motor respond to a 5V pulse from a momentary push button?

Hi. Servo provides 500~2500 usec pulse signal under 5V voltage. The servo will directly rotate to the angle corresponding to the pulse value. Hope you have a good experience with our products.

Has anyone used these for model train N scale Peco switches?

Hello. There is no prescribed use equipment, and multiple assemblies and combinations can be cited. But need to meet the required voltage conditions. When you are using the servo, the voltage needs to reach 4.8-6V, connect the signal to the servo.

Do these have wires to connect to a battery pack?

To go to a battery pack, 5V or 4.5V, you may cut off the red wire from the 3-pin female connector and go to the plus of the battery. The orange or yellow wire must go to a PWM signal, usually from an Arduino using analogWrite. Black or brown wire goes to Arduino ground AND battery negative.
