OK for Home Use
The sheathing is not lighter than more industrial cords. But it is less than half price. Bought for my home welder which I only use about once a month. So for me, it is great. For my company shop, which would use frequently and abused, I would buy the expensive stuff.

Not Carol cable as advertised- also not UL rated as Carol brand
Not Carol cable as advertised- also not UL rated as Carol brand SOOW cable. Received some cable call TF Cable Flextreme. There are documents online that say it is UL rated but who knows who is posting this stuff. It doesn’t say UL on the cable. This cable is also not quite as flexible as the Carol SOOW which I also own. It is flexible but not nearly as Carol brand. There is a note in the description that says specs can vary. If this is the case then brand should be advised as various not premium Carol brand. Paid $175 for 50 feet.

Very high quality cable
Although the cost ($118) was a little more than I wanted to pay for 50 ft of 6/3 cable, I am very pleased with my purchase. This is being used for a 50a generator cable. Originally I bought Romex 8/3, but it was absolutely awful to work with, and is really meant for indoor wiring. This cable doesn't kink at all, and is very easy to work with. Stripping the wires to put on a connector was much easier than I thought it would be for 6 gauge wire. Insulation comes off without a fight! I highly recommend this cable.

Emergency charging for an EV on long trips.
I favored the current carrying capability of the wire gauge. I made a 50 foot extension cord withthis cable, an electric clothes dryer plug and an electric range socket. This cord travels withus when we visit a friend and her laundry room has access to 240 VAC under 50 feet fromthe car.

Solid product, better price.
Purchased this to make a 240V welder extension that would allow me to reconfigure the male-end quickly. The cable is sturdy, easy to work with and pliable. This is the best price I found for 6/3 for the length, even better than some 10 and 8 gauge SOOW cable I found at the same length, so why not go bigger and assure better power on the other end?My only complaint is the cable needs to air out some, it has a strong scent to it that lessens over time.

Great cable that’s very flexible.
I like it can be wounded up when I not using it as generator cable. The cable is made very well nothing cheap about it. I may cut it use some for welder extension cord because I got 50 feet. The wires themselves are made up of small strands of copper which make it flexible with plenty strain cord reinforcement.
