I repressurized my tank and ran two tanks to clean the system out. The water on the third tank came out pure and ready to drink. This is my first time with after market filters and I am very happy with my experience. The only negative thing is it did not come with the replacement regulator that the original comes with but it is literally a small detail. I will have to alternate OEM with the original to keep the regulator functioning properly. ### ⭐⭐ Water tastes wrong, RO filter needs to be replaced after 2 weeks *by E***N on Reviewed in the United States on September 1, 2019* After 7 yrs of using a GE profile RO system, I bought compatible replacement filters. It was still pricey-$98, for the two filters and RO membrane cartridge. The filters and cartridge were lightweight plastic compared to the GE versions. The filtered water has never tasted right. At first I thought it might be residual from the new filters but it has gone downhill over the last two weeks to the point where I am going to order GE parts and replace everything. The water flow from the RO tap is very weak and for the first time, my system is making strange humming and hollow noises. Way cheaper though, I guess you get what you pay for. Also, let me preempt any speculation about the humming...
