It’s not your mum’s, but it’s pretty close!
A very English marmalade, with coarse cut pieces of Seville oranges, not too sweet, just right. Perfect with butter on toast or in a sandwich that would make Paddington Bear proud. It’s not your mum’s or grandma’s, but it’s the next best thing when you can’t make it to a summer fete in the UK to pick up a jar of homemade. Cheers!

Goldilocks says “just right “!
Frank Cooper’s Original Oxford Marmalade checks the box on everything I was looking for in a coarse cut, bitter, plentiful peel, thick marmalade. I can’t heap much more praise on it than that. It has rich dark color and is neither too sweet or too bitter. I remove it from the refrigerator 15 minutes or so before using to ensure an easier spread and a more even distribution of the more than generous portions of peel. I don’t know how more peel could be packed into the jar. The texture is just so right. I’m anxious to finish my first jar so I can order another to see if it is consistently perfect.

Tasty - not overly sweet nor bitter
This is a very nice marmalade. It is neither too sweet nor bitter. I had worried that the pieces of orange rind would be too big and too chewy, but they are very pleasant. The thickness is good for warm toast as it spreads easily then. The color is rather dark when viewed through the jar but more orange when put on bread.

Delicious traditional orange marmalade
If you love real British coarse cut orange marmalade then this is a winner. Fantastic on hot buttered toast to wake you up

Refined product with abundant rind
This a second opinion review after locating a lot more rind that had 'sunk' toward the bottom of the jar. Although finding the rind helps a lot, my first taste impression still stands...a 'not-strong' bitter orange. I now use this on nut butter sandwiches. FIRST REVIEW: IMO, this is more like a jelly with a few scraps of 'depleted' near tasteless rind. It's probably OK for a ladies' afternoon tea sandwich but not for a morning's greet-the-sun wakeup. Fortunately, I'd also ordered another well-regarded (but less expensive) marmalade brand for comparison (Wilken$Sons "Tawney") which I like very much... full-bodied with lots of tangy rind, dark color...meets my requirements, and leaves this product well in the dust. (I occasionally smoke Romeo & Julieta and Partagas from Paris.)

Arrived smashed. Won’t refund!
Love the product but it arrived with the jar smashed. There is no way to return or request refund. Won’t be purchasing from this seller again.
