The weight of the thread is a somewhat heavy, but as a result it’s very strong and did a great job of tying small jigs and heavier wet flies. Probably not suitable for tiny dry flies, unless you can tie them with very few windings. The variety of colors work well for everything I would want to tie. I’ve already caught quite a few salmon on the jigs I tied, and the thread has held up well.
