A good talking thermometer ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to use *by D***O on 15 July 2022* The thermometer is simple to use, for health problems which can cause a temperature ### ⭐ Waste of money especially if you are blind and a little deaf! *by J***J on 18 May 2015* I bought this for my mother who is registered blind and undertaking chemotherapy where it is important to monitor any infections apyrexia. This has a really fiddley set up - having to set the date time month year etc. I had difficulty doing it and I can see! The display keeps turning round depending on which way round it is held - no good for mum trying to manage with a magnifier. It does give a digital readout of the temperature in the room - not that we really wanted that. Why is there two ways of measuring the temperature - the forehead scan isn't very accurate and the ear scan varies as to the angle it is inserted in the ear. The audio is a woman's voice and isn't very clear - especially to my mum who also is a little deaf and reliant on hearing aids.
