Excellent last ditch knife!! Perfect for a lady to carry.
So I read a few interviews on this knife & felt the need to write one of my own on this perfect little last ditch blade. So a lil background on me & why I think my opinion matters(does anyone's opinion really matter?). I teach edged weapons 6 days a week for a living. I am around blades all day long & have forgotten more about edged weapons than most "YouTube sensations" know. I train what works & break everything down to its most minute part with a discerning eye! Ok, now lets get into this knife. First what this blade is not- this is not designed for cutting ropes, cardboard boxes, etc. That's what a utilitarian blade is for. I saw a few people complaining about the blade breaking/ bending when used for everyday type purposes, this is not the knife for that! This is not the knife you will be dueling with or engaging in any sort of multiple attacker type scenarios with either. Also, that lil ring doesn't make it a karambit, so save yourself the embarrassment of twirling it like one! That's a retention ring & not the knife for fancy,"Raid pt2" karambit work. What this knife is- The perfect last ditch blade for when you are up against the wall or looking for a secondary blade to put into the fray. It is small, concealable & easy to use as a shiv for hitting vital targets like the neck or eyes & is perfect for the ladies to carry & use with minimal effort or training. This knife will do the job it has been designed to do, nothing more, nothing less. And also of note- this blade won't break the bank like Doug's version!! My only complaint was the lack of retention on the belt clip so that was removed & replaced with a 3" Ulti clip which has the retention I needed. If you find your sheath is lose like some of the other buyers stated, just hit the sheath with a heat gun on low & refit it to your preferred retention. Youtube is your friend! Once again, this is an excellent blade & worth the price point. Works a 100% better than a pink rape whistle!

Solid Little Knife
Seems to be a pretty good knife for the price. Mine was very sharp out of the box (had no issue shaving some hair off of my arm). The machining for the edge was pretty straight. I've been heavily using it to cut up cardboard boxes since I got it and the edge seems to be holding up pretty well. I'm not sure if the blade is real D2 steel, but for the price, this knife seems to be a solid deal. Others reported issues with the sheath not having very good retention. I've had the opposite be the case: the retention of my sheath is super tight. It is much easier to pull the sheath off my belt or pocket than it is to get the knife out of the sheath. I've adjusted how I remove the knife from the sheath and with some practice it seems to be no issue now. I take some comfort in knowing that the knife will never accidentally come out of the sheath while being carried. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and look forward to using this knife in my EDC rotation.

Cheap bastinelli clone
Pretty dull but way cheaper than the bastinelli. A sharpie cap goes over the blade in a pinch ๐ Clip is very low strength. Would recomend to get an ulticlip

Don't get scammed, get this instead. This price is a steal.
To preface: I have small hands. I literally have no complaints at all about this knife. It's honestly just the perfect fixed blade EDC. It's so easy to carry day to day, it's very comfortable in the palm, the finger ring works for me, and another mate who has wide fingers. The steel is probably 440c, and it's plenty tough for a knife this small. The blade geometry doesn't lend itself to cutting ability, despite the fact that it's easy to sharpen to a razor's edge. But that's not what this is for, obviously. It's a thrusting blade, and the tip is formidable. I was worried about the knife being thin at the tip, but it's pretty well reinforced by the spine. I recommend it, and I will probably buy it again in the future.

Definite shortcomings
I have this as well as the Pika clone. Personally I prefer the latter. This Piquer clone is okay. The blade is too thin and would break or bend on hard surfaces like bone, watches, zippers etc. The pika clone doesnt have this con. I also wish it was even a quarter inch longer in the grip for better and safer handling. The upside to this knife is its ability to deeply conceal. The clips and sheaths on both of the clones are their biggest downfall. I edc these clones until I can upgrade. But if thats your choice you need to modify the sheath for better retention and definitely upgrade the clip on both models as I already lost and replaced one. Itll absolutely serve its purpose but I feel the cons may outweigh the pros on this particular model.

Really sharp little knife, cuts almost effortlessly through most items and the tempered steel is spot on sharpens nicely too

Unfortunately I should have followed the advice of other buyers. The holster for the knife didn't fit at all so I had to return the knife.
