unusually potent
had a nice surprise with this cayenne. it is much more potent than any organic cayenne i ever bought at the supermarket. a teeny bit goes a looong way. i highly recommend it.

you're buying CHILI cayenne pepper, not cayenne pepper
Be forewarned... this product is not cayenne pepper. It's chili cayenne pepper. Even though the bag only says organic cayenne pepper in the picture, when I received it, I was really disappointed that it said organic chili cayenne pepper. I really wish they named their product and photographed it correctly. I can't eat chili because it inflames my gut, and the whole reason I was getting cayenne pepper was because it has anti-inflammatory properties and supports a healthy gut microbiome. Now, I have a 1lb bag of useless chili powder that I can't return. Very upsetting...
