Kaftan Hand Beaded Maxi Dress Evening Gowns Evening Dresses Wedding Cocktail Plus Size Black

The fabric is not at all what I hoped for so I will be returning it.

This was a Christmas present for a girlfriend that loves both, kaftans and bling. So looking at the picture it seemed to be the perfect item to give her. Upon arrival however, I wasn't as thrilled as I thought I would be, but I figured you get what you pay for. The kaftan wasn't expensive and it didn't look quite as nice as I had hoped. On the day my friend opened her gift, she seemed pleased but knowing her I knew that she was a bit disappointed. However I suddenly got the idea to pull out one of my craft boxes with lots of beads, baubles, rhinestones and cabachons in every color and size. Armed with a couple of bottles of Soho glue, we proceeded to embellish the katana to our hearts delight. Well some readers may be appalled by the amount of bling, but my friend K (whom I mentioned on these review boards as the recipient of another gift I gave her, a tapestry, which turned out to be a very controversial review, lol) she was very happy with the outcome. The royal blue and gold were a perfect background for lots of jewel toned sparklers, and she felt quite majestic in it. The only improvement I can think of would be a jeweled turban with a long peacock feather on top, but that would be for another day.Yes, I recommend this kaftan, as is or embellished, especially if you're looking for a Saturday afternoon craft project, with or without a silly best friend. :-)

Love it comfortable for plus size flattering if you where supports looks sliming

I wore this once and received a lot of compliments. It is a little larger even with the inside belt.
