Works great, and looks better than the other versions I have seen. This is easy to store in the front pocket of my white coat, and seems to work just fine. It came with 5 or 6 refill monofilaments for when they wear out. My only complaint is that sometimes the tip falls off. It isn't a big deal as it is easy to reattach.

GOOD PRODUCT AND PRICE
Easy to use and sturdy construction. You can pay a LOT more for a monofilament tool. Fits nicely in my shirt pocket or medical bag.

do not recommend
arrived today and the monofilament that was in the pen is crooked/curved and unusable. also, picture is misleading - it is only one pen with 5 refills. wouldn't recommend.

The 10 gm Semmes-Weinstein filament is the fastest and easiest way to test diabetics for peripheral neuropathy. Using this to test feet would save countless amputations a year.
