This book has lots of great basic programming examples + 25 complementary projects with worked out solutions at the end of last chapter. Text also introduces the reader to a free simulator software by which reader can simulate his control programs to make sure that his LDA developed programs are developed bug free. Great value I recommend it highly.

It's pretty good for a beginner. I liked it. There are good problems and examples. It may be a simple book for advanced users though.

this book has lot's of great basic programming examples to introduce the reader with the application of the Siemens S7-200 PLC programming instructions in practice. there are 25 complementary projects with worked out solutions at the end chapter of the book which was a grate way for me to test my programming knowledge. Chapter 5 of the book is devoted to a typical HMI device, how to edit and Run device. This is a good starting text to learn the function available on the Siemens S7-200 and how to apply them.
