Money saver
I recently took my 2015 Elantra to the dealer to have some manufacture suggested “recall work” performed. While there, the dealer indicated the car engine air filter and the cabin air filter needed to be replaced. They said that they would give me a discount to perform this work since the car was already being worked on. They said it would ONLY cost $183 to replaced these two items. The look in my face when they gave me the quote was enough to tell them what was on my mind and they didn’t pursued asking if I wanted this work done. Instead I purchased the Spearhead air filter and a new cabin air filter and did the work myself. The job took less than 15 minutes to complete. The quality of these filters look as good as the OME filters that were previously installed in the car. The rubber gasket and the filtration medium are well made and appear to be of a durable quality material. I recommend this product.
