This quilt is perfect for fall. It’s mostly cotton which is cooler for Texas weather. After reading other reviews about it not being soft, I decided to wash it twice with fabric softer before using it. It washed perfectly, it fades but not enough to affect the bright colors and was soft and not scratchy. It’s the thickness of a coverlet which is perfect for me because I get hot easily. It fit my king bed well. It doesn’t drape to the floor but enough to look good on all sides. I’m very happy with this quilt.

Our quilt arrived today and we love how it looks on our bed! We ordered the king size so that it would work like a regular bedspread. The only downside is that the pillow shams are for king pillows, so we have to tuck the excess fabric under the pillows. I can't comment on t he washing because we haven't washed it yet.

I like this set but be aware that the orange is a bright pumpkin orange which might not be for everyone. I suspect it will fade a bit after a few washings and dryings. However, I consider orange a happy color and indeed, when I walk into the bedroom where I am using this quilt, it does bring a smile. The print is cheerful and inviting.It is very light weight which suits my purposes. I bought it essentially as a coverlet/bedspread. This quilt goes right over the heavier fall/winter blankets. I have another quilt/bedspread for summer use so this one will be packed away come May.I am pleased that the quilt is cotton (the thin fill is polyester).I would not have considered buying this had it been much more money. This quilt gives me an additional option to change up a bedroom's look from time to time. I won't feel badly if I only use this for a couple of seasons.As an aside, I bought the king size for a queen bed. I have been doing this for years as I prefer that quilts and bedspreads reach to the bottom of the bed. The king coverlet comes with king size shams so you will need larger than standard size pillows to go in them.This quilt is also so thin that you could tuck it neatly around and under the mattress for that tidier look. If you are planning to use it that way then I would not necessarily size up.

I love quilt. It is cozy,warm & I love the colors. I think is reversible,but I only use one side. It washed up well when I washed it. It is great in any season

Great quilt set, washed up and softened nicely. Be sure and dry using dryer balls which cuts the drying time. Light weight compared to my Company Store quilt which we appreciate.It is just long enough to cover our 14 inch mattress on the sides which was also important.Love the birds in the print however I wish they were placed at the top row of the shams so they could be seen better.We have a big dog who is on the bed often and we needed something washable and in earthy colors. This set fit the bill.

Beautiful quilt but unfortunately it faded a lot after I washed in cold water.

I love this quilt! Beautiful!!!! if you are going to use this as a top "cover" then Yes...you will need another quilt or blanket under this one. The shams are cut from a swatch that is a combination of three of the 6 patterns represented in the quilt. I was happy with the combo that I received. quite honestly any combo would be fine...but may not be the one that is pictured in the photo. Maybe that should be stated. With that said.....I am very happy with my purchase!!! If you do have to wash it upon purchase...i'd def wash in cold and dry on low.
