I bought these because I didn’t know what my current gauge was. Cheap plastic, but they work and I haven’t had any issues.

My friend told me to look up Guage kits in Amazon and I'm so glad I did. This is exactly what I needed. I like the versatility as I go through each stage. Very comfortable as well. I recommend looking up care instructions for the process so you know how to use them.

Buy vitamin e oil, this is what I used when stretching my ears, works the best in my opinion but this is a great kit for beginner, really wish it came with instructions, but you can do an easy YouTube search

This kit has been interesting to see how these hard plastic piece taking me to the next level. Despite one broke as it slipped off the counter. But cool product. Many pieces.

Check your package carefully, they sent me (2) 2G taper sets, and no 0G taper set (tapers, plugs, and tunnels). They sent (2) 00G spirals and no 0G spiral, so with this kit I couldn't go to 0G or larger.Luckily I'm not going larger than 2G, but if you are make sure you get all the sets.I took the leap and decided to gauge my ears up to size 2. I had been told by friends that either did it, or had friends that did it that this set wouldn't work. I already had standard ear piercings, 18 gauge i think they are. So i was concerned about the 14G being to large and the pain they were talking about. I put the 14G in with no problems, no pain, moved to the 12G a couple days later, when i did that then there was a little discomfort as it stretched my ears, but nothing bad.I'm now on the 6G, and moving from 8 to 6 did hurt in my right ear. It's been repierced a few times over the years though, so i'm thinking i might have stretched it into one of those old piercings and it ripped maybe? It sure did hurt whatever happened. That was 3 days ago. Now it's almost pain free, and the tapers spin in my ears easily. The left ear moving from 8 to 6G had no problems. Little discomfort from the stretch but i didn't really notice since my right ear was on fire.I like hte tunnels, great colors on them. I tried the spirals until my son came home and said Dad guys don't wear spirals. So they're in the bag. I'm thinking i'll wear them anyway, they seem to stay put better than the tapers. I lost one of the O-Rings for the 12G taper when i was sleeping. so next time i size up to the 4G i'll do the spiral. I've noticed this 6G taper slips a little also, but luckily i haven't lost the O-Ring yet.Overall i'm very happy with the product, love the colors! Quality is great also, other than the O-Rings sliding off hte spirals, but any brand/set will do that. I did notice there are no groves or notches on the plugs to keep the O-Rings in place like one review said. Also I had no issues with the tunnels and screwing the back on, it's a no brainer if you've ever had ear rings with screw on backs.
