In the first half of this book the author emphasizes the importance of a fruit and vegetable based diet along with juicing. Afterwards the history and pioneers of coffee enema's (such as Dr.Max Gerson)are mentioned along with the authors personal health issues resolved using this protocol. The author explains most enema's merely flush solids out of the colon, but caffeine, palmitic acids, theophylline and theobromine in coffee release toxins, boost glutathione levels and increase liver function. According to the author Lee Smith N.D., "The best part of wakin up is coffee in your butt".Unique and informative reading.

I felt like he info was a  little disordered or that maybe Smith was repeating himself and jumping from here to there. I also felt he put a lot of info that was not pertinent to the topic, some political emotions perhaps. I have felt them too!  I am happy for the book and the info inside. I don't mind the repetition as it helps me learn.
