They both told me it was a great meter. We compared some readings from my meter and their meters and they were very close. This may be a little more than needed for a serious hobbyist but you buy it once and trust it. Other reviews from some of the other company’s moisture meters didn’t sound so good.I really like the idea of selecting multiple wood types, ¼ and ¾” depth, and pinless.I had this in my Amazon cart for several weeks.
