Amazing end to an incredible series!
I absolutely loved it. With some authors, it seems like only the first few offerings are well done, then the rest are quickly written and finished and are just a shadow of what you expect. Not so with Jaymin Eve.This series was written in 2015 and ALL of her newer books are just as detailed and keep you captivated until the end. This is the mark of a TRUE author. Someone who was meant to write.Even though I have KU, her books are worth buying because you definitely will reread them. Jaymin and Tate James are the only two authors I can honestly say have never written a bad story solo or when they team up.Very well done, girl!

Great ending to a worldwindstory
All the way to the end you didn't know how it was going to end. Many twist and turns kept the book flowing well. The ending was great...now to read the next "chapter"

Story line good
The story was great but the person reading was a little off sometimes. Sometimes she would try to do voices and would get the characters mixed up on what she did before or would pause in the middle of a sentence. Overall I enjoyed the story though.

Good series
So the main story arc concludes with this book, but there are definitely some major unanswered side stories with some of the other characters. There are individual books for Maximus, Jacob, and Louis after this. We do finally get lots of answers with this book, it does finish well - you may need some tissues on hand though! For anyone who reads reviews of the last book before starting the series, this is NOT a reverse harem despite having quads fyi.

The End?
To be quite honest, I wasn't too thrilled with the first half of this book, in the way of the large lack of action. Besides the bit of fun we had at the very beginning, duking it out in the labyrinth, it was all very repetitive with their need to "find any way to defeat Larky." Kinda dull. Not to say that I was disinterested in the book. Not by any stretch of the imagination. I just was expecting a bit more action since there are SO MANY baddies to fight now that everyone's out of prison or the Otherworld.I absolutely ADORED the new dynamics between Brax and Jess, however!! I think Brax is going soft now, at least where Jess is concerned. I loved his adoring manner when it came to her and the constant care he took of her well-being and happiness:“I love you too, Jess. I always have.” His words were low and serious as he stepped closer. Hot flashes started rocking through me. I wanted him so badly it was painful. “I’ll find you an entire cake. A godd*** truck filled to the brim with cakes.”This just so perfectly summed up their relationship and is too friggin' hilarious for words at the same time. Let us just soak them up and let them ferment...Amazing.Jessa never ceases to amaze and amuse me. Calling the Dragon King "Larky." GOLD! Rose saying "He would hate that nickname," and Jessa is just like "YES! I knew it!" HA! Also, girl does not know the meaning of the word "subtle." Or the words "laying low." Come to think of it, I don't think anything that doesn't include hard and immediate action is a part of our Jessa's vocabulary. But that's why we love her, right? And Rose. Little miss frail-on-the-surface has a bit of venom in her nectar center. Girl has got some serious thorns. Definitely not one to be underestimated. *cough cough LARKY cough* Wish I could've seen more of that one. Her utter disdain when it came to Jessa's poor acting skills was hilarious. And her response of just taking matters into her own hands was unexpected, though not at all unwelcome. Like I said; THORNS.That ending battle between Larky and Stratford, though....PERFECTION!! Such sweet perfection!! So sad, but so totally wicked. I loved every action-packed moment of it, and I am reminded of how completely bada** our girl Jessa truly is.The ending though (after the battle)...Now that was just all kinds of NOT FAIR! Does literally NO ONE get a happy ending? Besides maybe Jessa and Brax? That's just messed, to the Max. (No pun intended, but so accurate). Many a thing better be remedied in that area through the companion novels. MANY THINGS!P.S. WTF happened with Kristof, Vlad, and all the other Vanguard A-holes we had sufficient cause to be renewably worried about from the last book? Huh? Where are those MotherF****** hiding? End Rant.In all though, I was pretty pleased with how this final boom went. Kind of—though not really—the conclusion I envisioned. Definitely will be waiting with vigor for its continuation, however.

Book Review
OMG! This series was so hot hot hot to read!m Yet another brilliant series from Harmon Eve! This author truly knows how to write a truly magical series!! The story is brilliantly told and the world-building truly marvellous! The END and her true mate, Braxton , share a true mate bond, and their chemistry is off the charts!! These 3 books in the series are wonderfully easy to read, and I can't recommend them highly enoufh! Trust me ladies you will enjoy reading them!!

Breathtaking suspense
Wow! This book had it all, I think I spent at least half the book with my breath held. There was just no let up in the action for Jessa in this final of the trilogy of Dragon books featuring Jessa and the Compass boys. From the moment we hit the first page running there as no let up, as Jessa finds herself in the hands of Larky (snort), evil dragon king. Not knowing who is friend or foe, it is a complicated journey and Faerie proves to be a dangerous place for all. Whilst the 'bad guys' were very awful there was a lot of good here too and the pack have much to fight for. A lot more serious than the previous instalments, the team literally have to save the world.I found myself still being annoyed by Mischa but gradually at the end I am coming round to her and gladly we will be seeing a lot more of her in the next book set in this world, featuring the rest of the compass boys. I was very happy at the end of the book to see that they each get their story and even more so that Louis will get his chance of happiness, I have a serious soft spot for the powerful sorcerer. As do all good urban fantasy books, this one leads up to one hell of a final battle scene and JaymIn Eve does not pull her punches lightly, I found myself in tears more than once. So be warned, a box of tissues might come in handy. After much bloodshed, good triumphs though, and I loved the connections that these characters have. Off to stalk the author :-)

Brilliant!
This series had me hooked from the beginning. I have thoroughly enjoyed the story line, the refreshing writing style/voice, and the ability to bring these extraordinary characters to life. I am most certainly a fan! I found myself wishing this was more than a trilogy so I am relieved there are other Compass books for me to read.

Brilliant end to the first story arc
I really enjoyed this third book in the Supernatural Prison series. The characters are well developed and the writing flows wonderfully. The book is action packed and fast paced. We see the end of one story arc and the beginning of another.I can't wait to dive into book 4.

A bit over the top.
Left it a while before reading book 3. Found Jessa a bit too full of herself in this story. I accept the whole nature of the series demands her to be feisty (& I liked the bantor & the humour which was still apparent) but she seemed over macho & a "Clever clogs!" Nonetheless still a good read. Impossible scenarios? - well it is all about Magic where anything can happen!
