HTC Freestyle F5151 Pd53100 Unlocked Smartphone

I ordered this phone on the 5th of eptember 2012 and i got super saver 8 day shipping and i get it on the 7th!!!! only 2 days! Its a great phone and i get a case with it as well and i know people say this phone sucks but you need to take care of it in order to keep it in a good state. Get a micro sd card and make sure to delelte messages and calls. :)

Terrible phone. I got this because it looked like a decent smartphone without wi-fi. I was wrong. The OS was slow, buggy, and hard to work with while it still worked. There is no gyroscope on the phone, which means you have to press a button to switch the orientation when you are texting. Worst of all for me was the music interface. The sound was actually mono, which means really bad quality because it can only play through 1 speaker (no left or right). Plus, it downgraded all of the sound quality, which leads me to believe that the DAC on the phone is pure trash. After about a week, it just stopped working. Buy this phone only as a last resort to a phone without wifi for your kid to be safe.

The phone shuts down periodically for no reason and the ony way to get it back on is to take off the back and flip out the battery. I noticed this seems to happen the most when the battery is running low or I havent used in for a few hours. Ususally it is off when I get up in the morning. When the phone is working and not off, it works well and I am happy with it 75% of the time.

This phone worked pretty good for me. I needed as smart of a 'non-smart' phone as I could get; and I think I made a pretty good purchase. I have not heard many complaints, except for the glitch every once in a while that makes the phone freeze up where you have to basically take out the battery and put it back in to reset it.

I have had this Phone for 4 months and it works as it was designed works perfect.It looks good just right for a pocket the weight is good and sturdy. I must have got one of the good ones. I do have it for sale on this site take a look.

This phone is pretty good for someone who wants a feature phone but not smart phone. However, I have had problems with this phone since the day I got it with it shutting off on me randomly at least once a day. The only way I could get it turn on was to pull the battery and then turn it on.... got very annoying!! Then it started freezing on me and now when I turn it on it freezes at "HTC" and won't go any further, meaning it won't even go as far as the "menu"/"start" page. I read somewhere that you could reset your phone by going into the menu & settings, but I can't even get that far!! Can't tell you how many times I tried pulling the batter & turning it on to get it further. Also, personally if you do use internet on this phone and use facebook, the "friendstream" app sucks. There is no actual facebook or twitter app on it. No myspace at all. Unless you go through the browser these social networks are a little better, but not much.. This phone not even lasting me 3 months is what ticked me off the most & I paid $80 for it. I would not recommend the HTC Freestyle!
