Foam Numbers - 12 Inches - White (Number - 8)

When they say “foam”, they mean styrofoam. I bought this to paint gold and use for a one year old photo shoot (thought it would be easier for her to hold than wood) . I assumed it would be at least a little better quality than styrofoam. I’m concerned my baby could break this and also that you will be able to see that it’s styrofoam in the pics even though I’ve painted it. For $9 I could but a wood one. Waste of money. Don’t buy.

This item is trash!! This is bad for LA Crafts.com. Not representing them in a positive way! Item is not expensive but I needed it to finish decorations for my Granddaughters party. If you check my orders you will see I order letters. I already re-ordered directly from LA Craft. This was a shock! I order a lot from Amazon and I hope this doesn’t happen again.

I didn't like this at all. It's not very durable, and can be easily broken. This item is too fragile for me to use as a prop in baby pictures too due to the material. I thought the foam number would be more durable, but I could have made this with some packing foam I found in another product. If you are a photographer, this is not a number that should be used as a prop, unless it is glued to something that is more sturdy.

I can't believe they charge so much for styrofoam. I actually did not realize in the beginning that this was a styrofoam because I specifically typed wooden numbers. But when I received the item and I opened it and I realized this was a styrofoam for that price I thought this was crazy. I end up sending it back

Light weight and easy to work with! Wood would be more durable and easy to paint, but also more expensive and heavier for little ones. I painted it using acrylic paint (2 coats) and we used it as a prop for my daughter's 1st birthday photos and party. It was easy for her to hold and held up well.

Exactly as advertised and fit my purposes.Side Note: If you are planning to use the number standing alone, I would suggest fashioning something to help it with that. It is very lightweight due to the fact that it's foam. I used a long kebab skewer, fashioned into a type of kickstand.

Better than expected. Perfect size for my one year old's photo shoot! Although it is kind of like styrofoam, it is a very hard and sturdy foam. I was hesitant to order because it was made of foam. But glad I did anyway... My baby was playing with it and banging it in the grass and it did not sustain any damage at all! I am even going to be able to use it at his party now, I was expecting it to be destroyed after the photo shoot. I did not paint it, but if you do, beware that it has a bumpy texture and is not smooth.

This is advertised as FOAM however the seller doesn't mention that it is STYROFOAM which is a very different material. I thought it would be the smooth foam numbers that are easy to paint on. This is cheap styrofoam. the kind that if you paint it disintegrates.
