Could you please tell me exactly what makes up the filter “pod”. Is it a bleached paper stiffened with plastic?

This filters make up is proprietary information, however, we can say that there is no glue nor bleach used.

What can I replace Activated carbon pods with

The Mega Pod carbon filters shown, are specifically designed for the H2o Labs 100/300 series water distillers. Unfortunately, we do not have any information for an alternative at this time.

Does this sale consist of the carbon filter nozzle/holder?

This is a box of filters only. The nozzle is sold separately and also one comes with the purchase of a 100/300 series H2o Labs distiller.
