Portable Solid Brass Pen EDC Pocket Pen Signature Pen Ballpoint Pen

The pen is great with a little modification, but tolerances and a broken ink cartridge definatly doesnt make this useable straight from the box. The EKLOEN Portable Solid Brass Pen came in a nice clamshell case in a small black bag. When I removed it I noted that it would not fully actuate to the open position and the movement felt gummy. I took the pen apart to discover the pen ink canister had broken and spilled ink all over inside the pen. There was another ink cartridge inside the box, so it wasnt a big deal other than the time to clean up the mess. Once cleaned up and the cartridge swapped, I reassembled the pen, tried to open it, and found that the pen tip did not fit through the pen front opening making the pen useless with modification. Disappointed, I grabbed the next size up drill bit and drilled out the top cap to a slightly larger diameter (7/64 if memory serves). With this modification and a little bit of lubricant, the pen now works great.I could have forgiven the exploding ink cartridge (things happen in shipping) but the tolerance not allowing the tip of the pen to come out was excessive. Buyer beware, this item, while solid, heavy, and otherwise nice, may require modification to be functional.

I can't get enough brass. This pen is a nice machined solid brass pen. I've read it will take a Fisher space pen cartridge, but haven't tried it myself yet.Love the quality for the price.Fit and finish is very nice. I take it as a good sign that my wife complains about the weight of it.A minor issue of note: the threads on the thub widget in the bolt were a touch lose on my pen. I could hand tighten it and it felt fine, but after one operation of the bolt it would loosen a bit again. I put just a touch of blue thread-lock gel on it and it's snug as a bug now with repeated bolt operation.

I like the look and feel of the pen, it's quite substantial to hold. However when I first took it apart it was full of some sort of sediment. There isn't much post machine work done (edges not deburred etc.) Once I cleaned it out, polished the bolt mechanism, and deburred the sharp edges it is fantastic.

Very nice pen. Heavy in hand and action is very nice. I'm a pen fanatic and this is great. Needed some slight modifications for me though. I drilled tip so it would fit fisher space pen ink. Along with lock tite on the bolt handle and the back cap. Then engraved a little and painting inserts just for fun. Going to try and patena it tomorrow which would happen from just carrying it but I'm impatient.

This pen looks great on your desk but that's about it. It has the weight I like in a good pen and it writes well, but that's more of a compliment of Fisher's ink refill engineering than this pen. The engraved grooves have sharp edges that dig into my fingers and makes it uncomfortable to use for long periods of time. It has a satisfying <CLICK> when you use it, but after a few weeks, the bolt action jams and renders the whole thing useless. And forget about customer service. Emails to the company go unanswered and you're stuck with an unreliable janky piece of $17 garbage.You can do better. You'll have to because apparently Ekloen can't.

very heavy, the click mechanism is not convenient to use, it needs to be an inch longer if they are going to make it so heavy, the grip section isn't exactly very comfortable with the grooves, blahh, frustrating to use, just buy a bic pen instead, then you won't feel bad for throwing it out because it only cost 50 cents
