Airbrush H-100D Single Action Airbrush & Compressor Package

This is the first airbrush I have ever used/purchased and I am very pleased with it. I used this kit to paint a guitar using polyurethane paint and I got far better results than I expected. Since this is my first and only airbrush kit I have nothing to compare it too, but I was able to get quality, professional looking results with no trouble at all. This kit came with everything I needed so all I needed to purchase was paint. The compressor is very quiet, easy to use and adjust. The airbrush is very durable and comes with 3 different tips. Setup was a breeze, I was able to start painting minutes after opening the box. I don't really have anything bad to say about this kit. Again, I have nothing to compare it to but I'm so pleased with it that I don't feel any need to purchase something a bit more expensive. If you're new to airbrushing then this kit is a good investment, especially for the price.

So far after using this airbrush just a few times it worked just fine. I've only used water based paints with it but I'm sure that thinned out oil base paints should spray fine also. It did take a bit of time to get used to thinning out my paint to milk-like consistency but once I did it worked fine.

This set is great! I am using this set for airbrush makeup for now, I may use it later for crafts. I really like this set; the compressor is light, but it does the job pretty quietly, considering it is a compressor; I would describe it as perhaps a loud hum. Also the airbrush is simple to operate and to clean. The airbrush and the cord was made for the machine, I don't have to worry about busting the cord. I think, what this set is missing, is an airbrush holder. I would recommend getting a airbrush holder if you don't have one. But this set does fit into one box, great for shipping. I am having fun with it for now, hopefully it stays that way. Warning: I did have a problem, with the compressor vibrating off a table, {So be careful, and read the manual, all the way through!} but it has a year warranty, so thankfully it was covered!

I have just started to learn this new ART.... Problems.... GET LOTS OF PRACTICE,,, it was not as easy as YOU THINK... Cleaning... I left the paint in the airbrush for 3 days, to see what cleanup would be like : I was disappointed that it only took me 3 minutes to clean everything up... Wanted a cleanup project... No such luck The Compressor gets hot... but I have had no problems... but I always worry about my TOYS burning out BUT, BUT - I got a one year WARRANTY anyways on the product!

The description says “Made in USA” , which is why I bought it. The compressor says made in China. The airbrush is made in the US. Two stars off for the false description. I’ve used it a few times and it worked fine. I never used an airbrush before, watched a video, practiced on some cardboard for about a minute, and went straight in to painting a Saturn V, Saturn 1B, and Mercury Redstone flying model rockets. I got what I would call very good results. So for a model rocketeer, it’s absolutely fine. Durability? We shall see.

Well worth the money. Tank is extremely quiet. Used the airbrush to paint latex paint onto some cameras and the system worked great. Although this model has a water catch tank some still comes out of the nozzle if the operator does not purge the catch tank when they see beads of moisture on inside of cylinder. Allow pressure to built and then press and hold the purge valve on bottom of water catch tank for about five seconds. Repeat until the either you see the water moisture line slowly disappearing or until all moisture is gone. I prefer the second option as it gives more time to work before another purge is necessary.

Excellent compressor and airbrush set! Runs quiet and steady. It's extremely adjustable both on the compressor and the airbrush, perfect for my needs as a cookie artist. Comes with great instructions. Perfect for beginner or novice.

I needed a airbrush machine for some simple projects I was working on. I mainly needed one for full area coverage and not any smaller detail work. Considering this would also be my first airbrush gun/compressor I wanted something affordable and with good reviews. After reading the few Amazon reviews on this Passche H-100D, I thought "hey it does what I need" and bought it after a few days of thinking about it. Once I got it, I was pretty excited about it. The compressor was loud and I wasn't able to change the PSI but I didn't think anything about it. The setup of the gun was very confusing at first. Once I learn how to adjust the paint outcome I started using it. The first two uses were fine. Paint sprayed out decent however on my third session I started having issues. The gun would spray very blotchy and sputter a lot. The spray was not consistent and sometimes it wouldn't even spray any paint out. Frustrated I ran cleaner through the gun several times in between use like I did on my first two sessions but still had issues passing paint. I used three variations of water soluble spray paints and none of them would pass through. Sometimes my cleaner wouldn't even spray. Breaking the gun down was horrible and irrelevant. Even though it was my first gun ever, I knew there had to be a easier way. On each break down I would wipe the tip down and make sure there wasn't any paint clogs. After 3 hours and several clean the device still wasn't working. I looked through the manual and did what it suggested for trouble shoot - still nothing. Frustrated and upset I packed it up and file for a return. Just after a few hours of packing the item up for return I then turned around and purchased the Iwata HP-C Plus kit and I have to say there is definitely a price difference but totally worth it! I have had no issues with the Iwata and am very happy with it. Even for beginners I have to say go ahead and invest into something worth while and save the frustration!
