Great Product!
I can't say enough good things about the Master Spray Booth. I do a lot of acrylic spraying on my scale models. The dust from the acrylic paint was suffocating. This booth eliminated that all together. It really moves some air and its quiet. Master puts out great products. I recently purchased one of the G22 airbrushes from them and love it. I looked at other more well know models such as Iwata, Paschee, and Badger. All were extremely expensive. This booth breaks down to a very small foot print. But when unfolded is much larger than I expected. There is plenty of room to work. The only complaint I could find with it is the one with the LED lights was out of stock! That's the reason I went with this one. But if you have a sufficient lighting were you are working there is not much need for the LED bars. Would I recommend someone buying it? In a minute! Just a great all around product for the price.

Awesome addition to my collection
Was skeptical. No longer. I took the plunge.Noise levels. What are people thinking? This is not designed to spray during the movie! It is just fine. It is not loud enough to drown out the sound of the airbrush. Perfect solution.Suction. Beauteous!! Remove much of the overspray. If you point it I. A strange direction or a part that hangs out of the unit, it will not suck it down. I probably should tape down paper shields but I don't. I have 50 coats of various paint colors all over including the turn table and it works excellently!Exhaust hose. Ya, it is cumbersome. But that is actually a good thing. It is fairly rigid and pretty much will stay where you put it. Standard dryer hose size so if you don't like the rigidity, you can buy the flexible kind and exhaust it clear into the neighbors house. I love the one provided. The only thing that I don't like is the compartment for the little power puck. It takes an expert in puzzles to figure out how to get it on there. But the thing folds up nicely. I don't care about that because I have never gone anywhere else to paint my models. I have put it away on rare occasions and the fold up feature is truly nice but not the primary purpose of the device.

Compact unit, works better then previous buy.
This unit is as compact as I was hoping. It also expanded to the size I typically use. I bought the unit with an exhaust. You will have to remove four screws on the back and install a shroud before you can use it. But it works just fine once installed. Remember not to place too many bents in exhaust or your fan will be unable to overcome back pressure. When the unit arrived, the plug in power supply (DC Transformer 120VAC 60Hz to 12VDC 1.5A) did not work. They don't handle being dropped very well and this one apparently was dropped before I got it. Since I'm an electronics tech and save working power supplies from old electronics, I just pulled another one from my salvage bin and the unit came right to life. If your not that handy...go to Radio Shack or contact the mfg. For me this is not a big issue. [Spoiler Alert: Do not attempt this at home without proper training, as it will void warranty and may break unit......Since this is a simple unit electrically, I might later upgrade the fan with a Brushless DC fan (like in PC cases) with higher volume and maybe a LED light in the back. Think Blue.] I have waited awhile for something this neat, compact and inexpensive. Thanks Master Airbrush!!!Update: This is my second buy. This one had a new adapter on the back and didn't require removing metal screen. Also the fan is better and pulls air faster. Overall better unit. I did upgrade the exhaust duct to all metal from a hardware store. It will reduce the flammability of unit in case of....say a fire. I'm not telling you how I know. The unit is only rated for acrylics.

This Spray Booth Is Fantastic!
The two most useful tools I have ever bought for my modeling are a Dremel and an Pasche Air Brush. I now add this item to the list. This spray booth is wonderful! I used to air brush right at my desk, using newspaper to cover things. It was very inconvenient and messy. I have room to build a large spray booth, but never got to it. I used to use one shelf of an old book case, but the overspray was messy. This Master Airbrush spray booth has solved ALL my problems. It works great, it eliminates the fumes and overspray, and I can work right at my modeling desk without having to move things around or stand at a spray booth. I have done more airbrushing in the past two months than the past five years! To augment the spray booth, I purchased an LED light for $15 and attached it to the top of the booth with velcro. This helps, but I find the best thing is to position my desk lamp over the translucent booth top, and it brightens the entire booth!I am an HO Scale train modeler, and I have used this booth to paint cars, weather cars, paint buildings, and weather locomotives.I highly recommend this spray booth!!

Great small unit for the price
I was hesitant to buy this thing or to just build my own. The problem with what is available on the market for the hobby size spray boot is that it's either affordable or way over priced. This thing works well, folds up small and is priced right. I would have taken a 1/2 star off for its small size as I would have preferred something about 6 inches wider but to get that the cost jumps dramatically. If you are a DIYer and feel you can build a better one yourself you probably can but if you factor in the cost of material and your time the price for this unit can't be beat.I could not find the option to add lights to this unit so I added my own self adhesive LED strips, I highly recommend doing this if you plan to put this in an area that doesn't have direct lighting. The hood, although somewhat transparent, does filter quite a bit of light.
