It mixes really well, is high-quality, and has an excellent protein-to-calorie ratio (25g of protein for just 120 calories). It was recommended to me by my doctor. The Gourmet Vanilla flavor reminds me of vanilla ice cream. It is a little sweeter than I'd personally prefer, but it doesn't have that overly artificial, fake vanilla taste that a lot of protein powders do. Honestly, it's hard to find a protein powder that isn't on the sweet side, and this one gets the balance right. I usually blend it in my stainless steel Blender Bottle (which I've also reviewed) with unsweetened almond milk, a little water, and ice, or even just water when I want to keep things simple. Mixes well and tastes pretty good. Deducted one star for only being 25g per serving when the bottom end of the recommended intake is 30g per serving. I suspect this was done to get more “servings” out of a container in advertising. Packaging is too big…way too big. It isn’t even halfway full as seen from the picture.

I have IBS and a mild lactose intolerance. I can drink this stuff without any fear of becoming bloated, having cramps, or cropdusting the world. The only thing that makes me upset is how their Dunkin Donuts Cappuccino and Mocha don't come in 5 lb tubs. As far as other flavors go, you can't go wrong with vanilla if you're mixing it with anything, including coffee. As a standalone flavor, the peanut butter chocolate is pretty good too.
