Much easier and faster than tooth picks and dowels
I had a hinge on a screen door that had the screw holes stripped. Simply removed 3 screws and twisted the hinge away. Used a small hammer to bang the anchor in until it stopped, snapped it off, used the hammer to bang each anchor until they were flush to the holes. Reinstalled smaller, original screws, done.Worked great and quick. I highly recommend!

AMAZING!
These anchors are the best. I've used the in wood, brick, wallboard, etc. and got a solid anchor every time. My house shutters were originally attached with plastic pegs, eventually the pegs failed. I tried various other products to reattach the shutters, but they would blow off the house with high winds. Since using these anchors, all the shutters have remained attached (and it has been several years).

They work mostly. With some not so goods
From Jeff: So for use when repairing a residential front door hinge with standard sized Phillips wood screws (that are I believe a #8 size). The instructions for the package do warn you to "gently" screw in the molly. So that's good. You don't want to use too much force. I had an electric drill/screwdriver, flat blade screwdriver and a wedge to hold the door and a crowbar to move the bottom out. If you're doing it by yourself.I definitely needing to do a pilot hole first of around 5/16" drill. That would get the molly in to about the third thread on the fat end. Then I would simply smack the sticking out part with the screwdriver handle to snap it off. Worked well. Held the screws snugly but I would be wary of over tightening since they are after all plastic. If they were metal, ok then I would go tighter. But I certainly got them tight enough to hold well. They are designed to expand not unlike sheetrock plastic molly's with one slit in them.If you make the pilot hole small, be prepared that the phillips bit will strip the head. But it has a slot for a large flathead too to remove it again to use a bigger drill. The first bit I used was a little small.Biggest complaint, dudes, why only 10 units? Most doors need 12. Forcing to buy two packages. Reminds me of the hot dog packages with 6 hot dogs in them or the rolls with not enough rolls in them.. Hello.

Very easy to use and they work
So easy to use and it has been working great so far. I hope this is a long-term solution but so far, I am extremely pleased. I had two doors that had issues, one was the front door, and one was a bedroom door. It took about 2 minutes to fix both doors with these things. I wish I would have ordered them sooner.

Use fully threaded xlong door jam screws when using this product
I had to replace door jam screws with 3" long screws that were necked down by head of screw so this product did not work but when I switched to fully threaded screws product worked just fine. maybe Manufacturer could put that on instructions?

Wood anchor works as advertised!
Worked as advertised!!Used these anchors for a door that had a number of stripped screw holes from door over use.Inserted anchor and easily broke off to length as expected. Reinserted the screw and screwed in tight.Overall, appeared to work well and will see over time if it stands up to the test. Will update review in future. Thanks for helping me repair my door with an easy solution.
