Wayne Dalton TorqueMaster One and TorqueMaster Plus Cable Drums (320217)

The cable on my TorqueMaster One rusted out at the bottom loop on the left side of the garage door. Instead of just replacing the cable on the old drum, since the system was over 20 years old, I decided to replace both sides with a new Cable/Drum set to avoid any problems in the future. Amazon had the best online price and it could be delivered in one day. The First order was delayed in shipping so I cancelled that order and reordered. The Cable/Drum set came the following day. The hardest part of the install was getting the new cables on to the pin at the bottom of the garage door. With the help of a pair of needle nose pliers and a flat head screwdriver I got the old one off and the new ones attached. When attaching the loop to the pin, make sure it goes over the entire pin and seats properly.. Work slowly and pay attention to the the instructions for installing the new Cable/Drum assembly. I ordered this set of Wayne Dalton TM Plus drums to replace my original set of the exact same drums. My TorqueMaster Plus springs broke and one of the cables had some kinks in it so I figured why not just replace the drums as well and keep the originals on hand as spares. I was able to install everything in an afternoon and the garage is working as good as when new. I ordered the springs from WD direct but shipping was too expensive on the drums so I got them here cheaper. The springs were cheaper on WD.

This was the same original equipment used. One of my springs broke, so I decided to replace these guides and springs. Real straight forward and no real knowledge was needed. Basic tools and DIY frinedly

Item was exactly what I was looking for after one of the cable snapped. Local companies mentioned the entire torquemaster system would need to be replaced as WD does not sell just the cable, they were quoting me $1,600+This was a painless replacement and the garage door is back to working as before.

These were badly needed after 8 years of constant use , I was replacing a broken Garage Door spring and didn't want to leave the old cable drums up, ordered these at the last minute and all parts arrived quickly in time to complete the whole project, great quality

Fit perfectly for my torque master doors. Actual part numbers are 320202 and 320203 for the left and right sides. Decompressed the spring on the side that had the broken cable. 16mm socket with 30 (1/2) turns did the trick. Removed the bracket bolt and nut and the lag screw from the wall, super easy.
