Q: I'm concerned about durability? This wood doesn't look very sturdy and it's a lot of money for something that might not hold up?

The wood is sturdy, but probably won’t stand up to being dropped or tossed around. The trick is to use care putting it together without splintering any edges or tabs. Don’t be afraid to use a little wood glue. And if you are going to stain the wood, do it before you assemble it. There is are YouTube videos for how to build and for how to sort pieces. It is an impressive box and it adds to the display of this game and keeps everything very well organized.

Q: What about durability? This wood looks pretty thin. How long will it last? Lot of money for something that looks so flimsy.

It is surprisingly very sturdy. I used a decent amount of wood glue on most edges and connection points and they are very very strudy. The only issue I've had, is that when you go to put on the top cover over everything, it's a bit of a tight fit and needs to be worn in a bit. Other than that, it's a great organizer and thoughtfully engineered. I'm a huge fan of the broken token organizers, I probably have 8-10 of them, all put together and I've been more than satisfied with them all. Huge fan and this is one of their more complex pieces.
