Great for my needs
I have a pool weir (skimmer door) that can swing fully open when the pump isn't running and let all the junk it has collected flow back into the pool. Terrible design, but by adding one of these suction cups to the inlet wall, the weir now hits this and nothing gets back out. To make it quieter I put some 1" ID soft tubing on the nut.Very strong - This has been out in the pool without letting go for a month now. And I am very pleased.

May not be good enough to hang heavier objects but works great keeping them in place.
They work better than expected. They have not lost suction.

DOESN'T WORK LIKE I THOUGHT
I thought this suction cup would be perfect for my needs. I needed a means of securing an external sun screen to our car windshield. There is a metal grommet on each end of the cover and the description sounds like I could use the nut to secure the suction cup through that grommet. IT DID FIT PERFECTLY. HOWEVER ... The nut needed to be tightened to make the suction strong. By tightening the nut, it would pull up the center of the suction cup, the tighter the nut, the stronger the suction. BUT .. the grommet, for some reason, made the nut impossible to tighten sufficiently to make a strong enough suction to hold the cover in place. Without the suction cup being through the grommet, it worked very well on the glass, but the design has no hook or tab to secure anything to it. I suppose one could use the hook on the end of a small bungee around the base of the nut, but this would be makeshift at best. These cups are being returned and I'll have to look for some alternative way to secure the cover. I was really hoping these would work.

Don’t work.
Bought these for a small safety light on my back window and they didn’t work. Tried several times to get them to stay stuck but they didn’t stay.

These are sturdy but they have fallen a couple times. I am using all six to hold a little less than 15 lbs worth of stuff so my fixture hasn't fallen because at least two of them hold, but I had to use all six for that.

Planter Screws
I’m so glad I can purchase the replacement screws, I stripped 2 and thought I’d have to purchase the planter again. Now I have extra in case I strip another. The negative is they have to be removed almost every month to clean the suction cups and rehang them. Otherwise they are perfect.

Extra strong hold!!
These work really well. Perfect for aquarium! The added screw nut makes sure the suction doesn’t fail. This is my second purchase.
