Great product, our soil is the problem
We used this for our 2 dogs. It works fine, it's our soil that's the problemWe have a ton of clay just below the surface of our yard. In order for this to work well, we would have to dig out a significant hole and refill with fill dirt. The clay in our soil keeps this from doing its job/ working properly. But if you have better ground/ soil it would be perfect.I gave it 5 stars because, although it doesn't work for us, it's not because it's a bad product.

Does not quite live up to its promise
I have been composting my dog waste for years using an in-ground dog dooley system and enzymes. I moved recently and had to move my digester. I saw this product and it made a great promise and was easy to setup. I have one medium-large lab mix dog.I started using the digester in the winter in Northern California (40F-60F), and the digestion process was very slow. This was not surprising, as the enzymes in these systems work faster at higher temperatures. This is not mentioned in the documentation.Once summer came around the digestion process started working faster. Eventually, the container filled and I noticed that the matter at the bottom of the container which I added in the winter was not quite digested. The size of the container made it difficult to turn the contents of the digester, and again none of this is in the docs, which promise for the fecal to magically go away.Lastly, once the contents of the digester are digested (the matter smells like the mud in a swamp rather than poop), you still have to dispose of what remains. It does not magically go away. I spread it and buried it under compost in a new flower planting area.So the product worked, but I had to rely on prior experience, and it certainly it was not as magical as its promise would make you believe. I can see people new to dog digestion abandoning the idea because of the relative messiness of the process. Also, the enzymes are relatively expensive and not commensurately superior to other solutions. Since then, I bought a dog dooley steel system:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002DI35E?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_titlewhich is made of steel. It requires a little more work installing (you have to dig a deep narrow hole) but once installed is a lot easier to maintain than this product.

Doesn't work.
Like the title says, it doesn't work. We followed all instructions, added enzymes, etc and the poo breaks down better left on the open ground than in this flimsy plastic box. It doesn't cut down on the smell at all. Nothing seems to be breaking down at all and I have no idea what to do now that I have a plastic box full of dogshit that I don't want but can't move without creating a much bigger problem. I feel like a fool.

When you go cheap...
This is definitely the cheapest waste biobin that I could find, and it makes sense that it's so cheap. I like that it goes above ground so I did not have to dig a deep hole. It's super easy and quick to put together. It's nice to cheaply do a little bit of good for the environment.

Good dog waste solution
Easy to assemble. Once it's put together, it's plenty sturdy enough for it's purpose. I turned the soil before pressing it into the ground. Earth worms present. It came with a pouch of powder to aid breakdown of dog waste. Time will tell how effectively it functions. UPDATE 10-24-19: been using it for one 55 lb dog. It hasn't gone over about half-full. Only maintenance has been to keep it damp inside. Pleased with this purchase.

Not worth the price...
1) it's difficult to assemble (2) if you have any physical difficulty or disabilities, installation requires assistance (3) the bio waste poo eating powder isn't something that you can easily find online separately--meaning these people want you to buy a whole new system every 2 months. My suggestion is to find a different solution.
