BANGELarge Laptop Backpack 17 inch Durable XL Heavy Duty Travel Backpack

A Superior Backpack
This backpack far exceeded my expectations. Great padded straps and so many individual compartments sized differently make it easy to carry a variety of items and get access to them quickly. The charging port inside is perfect when you are away all day and you need to access your i-pad, laptop or phone. I took it to a day of baseball games at a park; and it held all my snacks, drinks, camera, blankets, coats, sunscreen, and cushions as well as the i-pad for over 7 hours. Next day took it to the beach with i-pad, video camera, lunch, snacks, drinks, towels, sunscreen and a book. All items are kept so segregated it allows for one bag to be taken instead of multiple ones. It is sturdy, stylish and made well. The electronics were kept clean, dry, protected and charged through the whole day. It has a generous amount of padding to provide comfort while wearing it. The downside of the bag is that it can become quite heavy to carry long distance. The multiple zippered pouches make getting items easy. I would recommend this backpack for students as well as anyone who is day tripping or traveling (TSA approved is a huge feature at airport screening) as a great option to compartmentalize your items (holding 2x the amount as other backpacks I have had) and keeps them safe, clean, dry and easily found and free up your hands while you wear it.

Nice bag
Fits well on a large frame. I'm 6'2, 220lbs.. Seems well built with many convenient storage pockets. I like the padded laptop/tablet pocket that's well protected on the interior of the bag. The charging port is probably handy if you need it, but I don't use it on mine. I would suggest that on future designs that they face the port opening down rather than sideways to protect the opening in bad weather.

Stylish, Durable and TSA Friendly
I've been using a cheap black backpack I received at a conference 20 years ago to tote around my laptop, notebooks and other electronics. While it has functioned well enough, since it was never designed to carry a laptop I've caused some damage to a couple of laptops through the years so when it came time to get a backpack that would handle my new 17" laptop I knew I needed something bigger and better.Enter the BangeI checked out a whole variety of backpacks but this one caught my eye. The style reminds me of Tumi but with some better design features and a way lower price! This thing is big enough to swallow up my 17" laptop safely and securely while still having ample room for all of my work supplies, chargers, phone, tablet, kindle and at least 1 night's change of clothes. Yet, it still remains small enough for everyday use.The fact that you can have your phone and charger power pack (not included) inside the backpack yet access them through the "port" on the front is super cool. There are tons of different size and shaped pockets, elastic holders and loops. Literally a place for everything and everything in its place!Looking forward to years of great service from this backpack!

An Honest Man's Review: I almost kept it.
This one was a good one, it just wouldn't fit my MSI GE72MVR (16.54" x 11.34" x 1.14") laptop comfortably. I mean, it did fit, but that was pushing it. If my laptop was even 1/4" more in ANY direction, it would not fit at all. By no means was it comfortable. It had nice zippers, stitching seemed sturdy, but it just fell short. It had a lot of compartments, both zippered and pockets.External Review:-The zippers were nice to use. They ran smooth and didn't give me much fuss even with the pack being full. My only complaint is that the clamps that were closing the gap from the backpack back and the second main compartment kept getting in the way of the third compartment zippers. This was annoying.-The fabric was nice. It was thick and sturdy feeling. It did make me feel that my items were safe from outside influences.-The pack itself was comfortable to wear. The arm straps wore nicely and the shoulder padding was comfortable. I could tell that it would work out well over long term use. The edge stitching would be annoying without a shirt on, however. I think it would cut into the skin with long term use. The mesh pocket for headphones and the loop for glasses were a nice touch.Internal Review:-I didn't have a ton inside this pack. But, I did have enough that the insides felt cramped. My pictures showed how full each was and what was in it.-My biggest concern was the lack of space around the laptop. My MSI GE72MVR is a 17.3" laptop had no extra room. While this might seem like a great thing, two corners were rubbing against the edge of the pack and less than 1/4" away from the main compartment zipper. It wouldn't have worked out long term. The additional main laptop compartment meshed pockets were a nice touch. I could put my laptop charger in one of them comfortably without worry.-The next main zippered compartment was a good size. I placed my Sony headphone case in there. However, the packed third zippered compartment made it annoying to remove the headphone case, I later found out.-The last and third main compartment has some decent organization. The separated liner, however felt flimsy and like they would unravel after some use. I had placed an external drive, some USB flash drives, my M.2 drive in that area. As noted, even this made getting the contents of the 2nd zippered compart difficult.-The external zippers could only fit small items like a pair of *thin* gloves or a beanie. I tried to put thicker gloves and my winter stocking cap, but they would not fit without pressing other contents.-The two side zippered compartments were nice to use. I could fit a lot in them without worry. The mesh water bottle pockets would have been useful.Final Thoughts:Perhaps if I had a smaller laptop, like a 15", it would have worked out well. But, I just had too many larger items that would make it more difficult to use.Good pack, just didn't work out for me.

Exceeded my expectations for a non-brand name backpack!
This pack was definitely a surprise coming out of the box! It feels like a heavy-duty, top-of-the-line pack with a good amount of cushion in the right places. Very comfortable for a day hike or overnight travel trip. It has included audio, USB, and microusb passthrough connections so that you can keep your expensive devices inside and still hook up accessories on the outside - like keeping your phone in your bag while you connect headphones on the outside of the bag.The zippers are heavy duty and smooth running on all pouches and slots. There are ample places to organize and hide goodies throughout the bag and a special padded slot in the main compartment for your laptop. It has a heavy-duty cable handle on top covered by a comfortable and soft grip - the best of both worlds - secure AND comfortable.

Large and sturdy
This is very large and sturdy backpack that has many thoughtful compartments. It is perfect as a backpack for me to bring my laptop, notebooks, lunch, sweater etc. to and from work and I always have space left over. The bag is well made and the zippers are good quality. I see it lasting for a long time. Highly recommend
