Decent but hardware is crap! Update Toughness is well beyond my expectation!!
Let's start with the good.. It's stylist, very lightweight, fairly simple to assemble. Now onto the not so good.First of all, instruction said to assemble the whole thing first and then install. However, structurally, there are 2 tiny screws holding the tip of middle arm to the bar and that's it. As you move the whole assembly, it falls completely apart and bending the thin aluminum tubes in the process. Word of advice? Install it one section at a time and do not try to carry both section assembled!2ndly, the expansion bolts are completely useless as some have mentioned. I have stucco wall and the bolts do not expand enough to hold. I had to run to Home Depot and get 3/8" bolts with larger expansion tips to secure the arms to wall properly. There are no installation instructions such as how far the holes should be drilled so I took my own measurements and drilled holes 38" apart. A drilling template would have really helped. It worked OK but in hindsight, I should have taken off half an inch so there can be some inward pressure from both sides towards the middle, helping to secure the center joint. As it is right now, a little flex from outer arms would cause the front bar to pop out of place, due to the damage caused by moving the whole assembly. Next I am going to have to put some epoxy inside the joint to prevent that from happening.Every day when the sun comes up, the panels heat up and start to make crackling sound, I assume due to expansion. It's a bit unsettling at first. All in all, it's decent. I have a house with tile roof and no gutter so there is nowhere to hide from falling rain water when I let the dogs out from a side slider. This would provide the much needed shelter for me. I certainly do not expect this to survive winter with snow on it but I sure hope this can at least hold up against rain. I'll see if I can come up with more ideas to strengthen the structure.Update 1/2024. I have updated this to 5 stars as I think the toughness of this deserves an upgrade in rating. This past winter we barely got any snow so I got lazy and didn't remove the awning to protect it from snow\ice falling from my roof. Had a couple of snow storm back in March 2023 with about 5" each. The awning took the hits from the storm and only had cracks on one of the panels. First storm in 2024 We were expecting less than 3" but ended up with nearly 6" of heavy wet slush. When avalanche started to fall from my roof, the awning finally came down. To my amazement, this was still very much in repairable state. I got several cracks on both panels and they fell off but still in one complete piece. One of the front beam got knocked out from the end screw. Basically I expected this thing to get completely demolished into shreds but I can definitely repair this with minimal effort.

Definitely as described!
We were tired of our doorway being soaked with rain whenever storms came. This fixed the problem and looks clean and definitely an upgrade. Thinking of buying others for our window's to match. Easy install my 16 year old grandson installed it for me in 15 min start to finish. It has survived storms here like a champ.

Good, but needs better hardware.
This is a nice awning that fits a double sliding door very well. The problem is that the fastening hardware stinks. They use a modified form of a molly screw that doesn't expand enough to hold. My house is typical AZ-style stucco over OSB over frame. The fastening hardware didn't hold in the OSB or in the stucco. I ended up going to Home Depot and buying the 4" long wing-type expanding screws, and they hold very well. Also, there is a 1/8" gap between the top of the awning and the wall, which needs to be sealed with silicone grout.

Very low quality.
Mine broke when weather was windy. Everything is plastic. Not recommend. Very cheap

Very nice, photos on amazon don’t do them justice.
It blends in perfectly on my screen porch. I will be buying more for my windows to match. Things to know:1, Comes with hardware for concrete wall, you will need screws and fender washers for wood wall.2, Instructions and amazon description don’t mention that it is trimable, utility knife for the plastic and hacksaw for the aluminum bars that keep it ridged.3, With two people you can assemble on the ground and mount it in one piece. The plastic support arms seem robust enough, we will see how they preform at -20 with snow. If they are not winter worthy I will replace them next year and keep them seasonal. Yes I like them that much.

Stylish but plastic.
Recently purchased.easy to install.about 15 min.look at the price.you get what you pay for.nice style but as stated it's plastic.looks a little cheap and it is.seems pretty sturdy after installed.does the job for what I needed it for.would be a much better product if side rails were metal and would be worth spending a little more money.

Less expensive than the more works brand and works better!
They are 2 solid panels that go in vertically. This works way better than the other brands that have two 2 piece panels that go in horizontally. Those cave in and fall apart. These are also less parts and way easier to assemble. I have already replaced 2 of them with these. Very happy with these.

Super sturdy!
Did not budge against 90 mph winds. Installed myself one section at a time. I used 3 inch stainless steel lag bolts instead of the provided hardware which is for concrete walls only. Works perfectly for a grill awning which allows cooking in the rain while protecting all materials.
