Florence Purple Yam Spread Halaya Ube 12oz (340g), 2 Pack

I bought a 2-pack. Even though both were very well wrapped with bubbles, I discovered that 1 jar was completed smashed/broken inside. Luckily, no injury to my fingers while I was unwrapping. I will give the seller the benefit of the doubt and chalk it up to bad luck. The product itself was good. Not sickenly sweet and had pronounced ube flavor. I added it to my pandesal and I loooved how it tasted with the cheese & bread. Will order again for more baking, hopefully with intact jars.

Really nice spread, and only three ingredients - purple sweet potatoes, water, and sugar. It’s definitely on the sweet side. I’ve had it on crackers so far, but I’d like to try this mixed in with other things like tomato sauce or soup to thicken them up a bit and add flavor dimension. The jar is 12 oz., and I’ve already been back to order more.

I recently purchased this as a 2pk. Both came super wrapped in bubble tape and packaged very well. I opened the 1st bottle and used it and had no issues and it was great in the recipe I did. Went to open the 2nd bottle a few days ago and after removing the bubble wrap, the jar still had the plastic seal but the entire top half of the jar was green no black mold. I contacted the seller and told them and sent a pic. They responded in less than 24 hours and offered to send me a new bottle or refund half the cost since it was a two pack. I would definitely buy from them again when I need this product. They went over and above since technically the return window was over by a week. I really appreciate their customer service.

Great find on Amazon as the pandemic is preventing us from going to local specialty stores. Used it for baking and the flavor was perfect. The product is thick and is kind of difficult to get out when you are towards the bottom of the jar. Overall great find.

Was looking to replicate an ube cheesecake that my husband and I had in in Hawaii during our honeymoon. We checked our local asian store and they didn't carry the jam so we went with amazon. The jam worked out perfectly and the cheesecake came out so good!!

Ube spread tastes great, not too sweet, just the right taste of ube flavor. It costs expensive though, I found these at an Asian grocery near my work and it cost only $3.99 a bottle!

This is not very worth it product it is just too sweet and plain.why did they over sweet this I tried to cooked it again I added 6 cups of milk and 2 tbsp of butter, it is so plain just water and the yam so boring and after doing that adding some ingredients still super sweet gosh . Its is better to under sugar than putting too much of sweetness seems like that they don't know what are they doing in this productI can still believed that they rate this five star and also smells like stinky feet. Please guys think about before you buy this product. I am not telling this just to get an attention, I am saying this base on my experienced.
