Love the quality

I collect Bibles, and this is my new favorite. I'm prob. also going to order it in black, bc at this price, why wouldn't I? I own gift Bibles, premiums, and everything in between. This one strikes the perfect balance you used to be able to find in regular mainstream Bibles. It's not junky, it's actually of excellent quality (ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE, which is ridiculously cheap) while not being overly premium. Yes, I have quite a few bound in goatskin, and they NEVER leave the house. Not because it's a hard and fast rule, I just never want to grab one of them. They don't feel like they'll survive a trip to church. It's strange, but true. They're too soft and floppy and aren't durable. This one is just right. LOVE! Also, Large Print Thinlines are my favorite formfactor (and I have them ALL). Yes, for this size thinline, the font is large. No, it's not 15-pt! Large print doesn't mean large print. It means that the font size is considered large for THIS size Bible with THIS paper thickness, etc. There is no standard large-sized font for all sizes of Bibles. What's considered large font in a personal size or a compact Bible would still be considered small in a desk Bible. So first decide what size, weight, and feel you want, THEN choose how large or small you want within the range available for the chosen style. Anyway, for me, this is as good as it gets. I do also have the large print thinline verse-by-verse Preacher's Bible by Zondervan with synthetic cover, which is actually really nice. Many would consider it the better between it and this but I still like this one better. The page layout feels more traditional to me, more Bible-like. But they're both awesome Bibles and either would serve you well.

Ribbon was stuck glued to page a bit and ripped my bible. However I already wrote my name etc in it and can’t exchange. Check your ribbons aren’t sticking before keeping.

This NASB 1995 translation, thinline large print is truly a blessing from Zondervan. They put it together with the saints and reader in mind. The cover (bonded leather) is a smooth rich burgundy and lays flat! There are two satin ribbons in the Old and New Testament, burgandy and a reddish brown. It comes in under one inch with the lettering on the spine embossed in gold. The print is Comfort-Print 10.5 is easy on the eyes behind glasses.The paper is very clear with the print. While there are a few word explanations at the bottom, you will not be distracted from the double-column, verse by verse format at all. There is no Concordance but those are easy to pull up by cellphone app or you can get a Bible Handbook or Rose Publications. What it does have are the Miracles of Lord Jesus, Parable of Lord Jesus, Perspectives: What To Read When The Future Seems Hopeless, You Are Tempted To Be Bitter, and it continues...... In today's lost rollercoaster world this is needed. Also there are the Prayers of the Bible, you have an example of Abraham, Joshua, Ezra, Nehemiah. Also Prayers from the Biblical Prophets. Prayers of Lord Jesus our Savior,Prayers of the New Testement and Paul the Apostle.Promises from the Bible: Feel Dejected, Despair, Weak, Tempted, Doubt.... These will take you to the scriptural passages. This Bible comes in a well crafted strong box that this treasure of God's Word can be placed in as well as the heart.These will make amazing giftsIt's an eternal, empowering and everlasting gift. I am glad that I purchased it.

My aging eyes, strength and pocketbook very much appreciate this Bible. I easily read the giant print type style which is easy on my eyes. The size is acceptable for its light weight and for a true leather cover and binding I could not ask for a better price. I use other sources for searching and study and the lack of those contributes to the light weight.

My Bible I use for church and bible study is a large study bible with commentary, maps and a glossary. I also use my blue letter app on my phone.I was leaving on a mission trip and needed a smaller not so heavy bible. I ordered this one and I love it. I also love it was for a mission trip and when you open the bible it hasPsalm119:105 YOUR WORD IS A LAMP TO MY FEET AND A LIGHT TO MY PATH.
