It Stinks!
The smell is horrible but I figured this has to work but it didn’t! Not only didn’t it work the squirreled watched until dry and then run up the pole and cause havoc in my bird feeder within minutes! The directions say apply once per month and I did it back to back days and two squirrels still ignore the smell and returns to the bird feeder to cause a compete mess the product stinks!! In more ways than one!!!

THIS STUFF WORKS GREAT!!
This stuff works exactly as advertised. No squirrel will even go near anything sprayed with this product. The smell itself is enough to repel unwanted rodents. 5 STARS!!

Product did not work, if anything, it incited more disturbing activity
I was so hopeful for this product as it seemed like a solution in a bottle for the chipmunks and squirrels, who were digging all of my landscaping beds up. After receiving the product and gertting ready to use it the spray nozzle would not work. I had to contact the company who graciously mailed me two new sprayheads quickly and for free. The application of the product was difficult because the solution has a white milky film in it, which clogs the spray nozzle every 2 to 3 squirts. I wound up, transferring the solution into a industrial sprayer to actually use the full bottle. Unfortunately, the digging activities seem to increase after I sprayed the areas with the most traffic and damage by these critters. I do not know if it was just ironic timing or if it incited them to dig more. Amazon would not allow me to return the bottle or get a refund and suggested I contact the manufacturer directly. By time I contacted them many weeks went by as I was concentrating my efforts on protecting my landscaping instead of getting my $10 back. It was worth a try, but it was not successful for me. I wish anyone purchasing this product more success.

Doesn’t work
I can’t be watching my plants all day, and I had high hopes in this product. It worked for 1.5 days, no rain. Spray nozzle spins around in the bottle when you are spraying and is flimsy. It leaves a white chalky coating wherever it lands. Be very careful it doesn’t get on your skin or allow it to blow into your face.Update: squirrels must get used to it, it’s not working at all now

Definitely reduces the number of squirrelss
We have been fighting (and losing) the battle against the squirrels and the bird feeder. After spraying this squirrel deterrent, there have been far fewer squirrels, but we have to reapply every few days or they come back. It seems to last 4-5 days (or until it rains). It has a strong cinnamon smell, but I like it. One limitation is that it says not to spray it on plants, so depending on where the bird feeder is, your options on where to spray it might be limited.

Squirrels getting into your engine will make you very sad. This seems to help.
Nothing will stop a squirrel from getting into your engine and chewing it up if it wants to short of nuclear weapons. We had thousands of dollars of damage this year from squirrels at our house and at the parking lot at work.We had to do a LOT of things to protect ourselves from them and this was one of them. Sprayed in the engine every day. It won't stop them but it has some effect and that along with some serious other things we did (including putting a security camera IN the engine compartment when it was parked!) it all added up to stopping the damage. Some car manufactures use stuff on the wiring that is delicious to squirrels. (They love having to repair this.) My husbands Honda Fit was candy for them. So was my Ford Ranger. If you don't have a problem with this. Great. I hope you never do... but be aware when parking that this can happen. It only takes a few minutes for a rodent to totally disable your car.

Squirrel Stopper...does NOT stop squirrels.
So I have an acrylic bird feeder that attaches via suction cup to my kitchen window. For a while the squirrels weren't able to access it as it was 6ft off the ground and not in proximity to any trees of close or equal height. But they are a crafty bunch, the squirrels, and I won't deny it...they can adapt to many situations. They now have proven to be astonishing jumpers, not unlike the Velociraptor in its heyday. The squirrels get up onto a small plant that brings them 2ft closer to the feeder, then proceed to launch themselves vertically in such a way as to make Elon Musk proud. Their accuracy in the launch leaves something to be desired, so they do not always hit the sweet spot of the feeder window-but as I said before, they can adapt. Sufficed to say, their launches are getting better. The birds have noticed. My kids have noticed. And their increased weight and size due to the seemingly unlimited supply of birdseed has not gone unnoticed. So here I found myself, and this product, with a rejuvenated sense of hope for the winter fliers, only to be left disappointed and frustrated by a small-sized critter of enormously-sized annoyance. I applied the spray as directed in copious amounts around the ground and even on top of and underneath the feeder, and when the first application failed, I applied it directly to the birdseed as an all or nothing gambit. You'd think the sweet peppermint smelling spray enhanced the taste of the birdseed in the same fashion spices might enhance the flavor of items prepared in a master chef's kitchen. The squirrels spent more time than ever on the bird feeder, hoarding their score with sheer disregard of thwarting attempts and sinister gluttony that Dante would write about. I daresay I even caught a few smug stares from the furry vermin as he chomped away at my not inexpensive birdseed.I find myself invigorated with wrath at this point, and will most likely end up sacrificing my place in heaven if it means I defeat this nesting nemesis. That being said, this spray fails to live up to its name, and I cannot recommend its place in the preventative spray sections of any vendor, be it online or elsewhere, as method to curb a squirrels insane ambition for nutritional procurement.
