Bowie knife just arrived, honest review. Looks like a huge work of knifemakers art.
I'm perplexed as to how all these smaller knives go onto this page, WTF ?Overall craftsmanship is A1, fit and finish A1, the blade looks like it has been completely buffed out ! Wood handle looks like fine furniture. Sheath is real leather and fits perfectly. However the tang is the rat tail type, no rivets thru the handle, hmmmm. Blade thickness is .178, blade length at center 11 1/8", total length is 16 1/8", width of blade is 2". Feels very good in my hand. First test out of the box, cut thru a sheet of paper then shave my forearm, very sharp. The only questions are, no makers mark on the blade, wondering about the rat tail not full tang, why ? Would I buy it again ? YES pending a short field test as I didn't buy this to hang on a wall. !

very nice scales, good finish
I bought this knife as an alternative to a popular bushcraft knife of similar proportions and dissimilar prices. Compared to others I have bought in this price range it is ahead. A well executed knife, very nice scales, good finish, keen edge ( looks as though it were stropped ) 90 degree spine, good blade thickness and although not a Scandinavian grind I will not be afraid to re-sharpen. Fair sheath, for price, black in color, very nice double stitching, brass rivets on belt loop and from what I can tell genuine leather. Shipping was on time. I have spent a good portion of my life in the outdoors hunting and fishing. Cant wait to put this knife to task. Thank you.

Surprisingly nice
This is a beautiful knife. I didn’t buy to hunt with so I’m not worried about it holding an edge. This will be displayed.

Another Perkin winner!
I own several Perkin knives, they are all top quality. This Rambo 3 version is one of their best offerings so far. Absolutely terrific ergos, shaving sharp from the factory. Well balanced for a larger knife, and not heavy at all for its size. I found it on sale for $25 which is a steal for this value. Highly recommended

Great Knife
The knife is really well made. It is sharp. I mean Really Sharp!. Everyone that sees it goes "WOW" Useful item. The sheath is a bit on the lightweight side. The knife however is awesome

Just ok.
Seems like it was just slapped together. Not worth the money.

Decorative wall art or snazzy paper weight
Knife looks good out of the package. However blade edges were honed unevenly and is un-tempered. I cant get it to hold an edge. took it to a pro local knife maker who said it was complete junk. Very disappointed. Spend 400 on a Skokum Bush took; at least you will know it's an authentic workhourse.
